I have found a huge amount of passion in that last piece. I now know that part of my purpose is helping contractors learn leadership in business. Yes, I use my degrees and business ownership experience, but more than anything, I use my ministry experience. You can learn so much about leadership from leading volunteers. If you can lead people to work hard, for no money (volunteers), you can lead employees.

I never Nickel & Dimed any of my guys..Every so often someone screwed up & needed to redo some aspect of a job .. I wouldn’t make a big deal of it & I’d pay him for redoing his mistake & give him $20 at the end of the day..most of my crew was with me 25 years..

Great info. I would love to learn more on how to get my sales way up there. I am the only one working and my 8 year old boy has autism. His school is expensive and everyday it is a 40 min drive there and back. I just want to build a great future for my son and know that he is taken care of.
