It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business.

It took me four years to discover that forecasting the market based on charts is pointless; you never know what will happen. Without a mentor, those four years were miserable. Now, I watch market trends and keep things basic and disciplined. I currently earn an average of $35k every week, despite the fact that I barely trade myself.

But like, it's *so time consuming* to find the businesses! At least for me as a newbie in freelance illustration. I have gotten jobs, that I could finish in a week (if they responded promptly) most recently for 1,400 - and that's underpaid. If I just had ONE other company pay 1/2 that much a month I'd be in such a good place. But I've emailed over 50 easily I get replies and interest...but....not much else. I think this totally oversimplifies the *time* and effort of *the search*

ZERO debt. Good emergency fund. 2 homes paid off. WELL over 250k invested over the last decade. Recently added some semiconductor and consumer staple and other misc ETFs such as materials (basically 20%), with individual stocks for growth and dividend, gold as a hedge, as well as starting to put money aside to buy (more of) the dip. It's been a long road to get here ... and by here I mean family man (3 kids with education paid) multi millionaire next door (hopefully by next year at 55 years of age)! I started with nothing but student loan debt. Let compound interest work for you, not against. Get out of debt and stay out of debt!

This video presents an overly simplified and unrealistic view of making $10,000 as a student. While the advice to focus on providing value is sound, the speaker glosses over the significant time and effort required to learn high-income skills and build a client base. Many students simply don't have the bandwidth to take on additional work while balancing their studies and other commitments. Additionally, the competition in the freelance market is fierce, and landing well-paying gigs as a student with limited experience can be extremely challenging. The speaker's suggestion to work for free initially can also be problematic, as it devalues one's skills and can lead to exploitation. Overall, this video offers a surface-level approach to a complex issue and may leave students feeling discouraged rather than empowered.

Dude i dont think you were watching the video, Ali clearly stated that he was in med school and made 10k in one day. In other words this is no where near “unrealistic”. If so the video wouldn’t exist, this content is created from experience and learning throughout the experience. With those two sky is the limit.

If I were a student and wanted to make $10,000, I’d follow a pretty straightforward plan. Picture this: You start by identifying a skill or hobby you’re good at-maybe it’s graphic design, tutoring, or even reselling items online. Next, I’d spend time perfecting that skill, building a portfolio or gaining credibility. Then, I’d leverage platforms like Fiverr or Upwork to get clients, or create an online store through Etsy or eBay to sell products

Of course you can only consume so much productivity advice until it all starts to feel like the same. At this point, he has covered basically everything and is just repeating the same idea with different words. I mean, look at Cole Hastings, his channel has soo many videos yet not single one of them feels substantial. On the other hand Thomas Frank simply stopped making videos (I knew he promised more but like his latest video is 3 months old now).

I can't agree more. I followed him when he had about 50 to 150K. Maybe he was unique and enthusiastic about what he was doing, and every video had something new to teach. Now, he is a generic KZbinr, which you can find on any other channel. This is good for him, but the content is not the same. I barely watch his videos more than 3 min 4 min these days.
