Here is my completed project for the #ifiwereajournal challenge.
If I were a journal I would be:
_a book of flowers
_brightly coloured
_have a soft and squishy cover
_be a children's book
_a place for collections
_a record of my favourite things
_a creative space to grow

It’s so nice to have an outsider’s view because I thought it was all over the shop when it came to style and personality. Appreciate the continued support 🥰 Also trying to make sure the body doesn’t grow out of the clothes it currently owns - I mean journal cover....😂

Hi Mel; it's Barbie 😘✨️🌺 and this journal is amazing. We have so much in common .....flowers, flowers, and more flowers !!! I'm with you, anything floral, wine labels, children's books etc. It is just gorgeous ✨️🌺✨️ The busy page you spoke about, you could always add a bit of gesso or some beautiful tulle. That's what I do to calm some of my pages down. If I could be a junk journal, I'd want to be one of yours......you add such love and consideration to your work. Don't worry about getting board, I do too and need to move on BUT go back and play with it to make it your own; you'll enjoy it that much more ! xoxo Barbie

Thank you very much Penelope 🤗🌸 I doubt it’d be possible for me to create a journal (or anything else for that matter) and not include florals somewhere. I think it was hard to start because of the very broad brief. Glad to have finished the challenge and appreciate your comment 😘

Beautiful! I did a similar thing recently in that my signatures where not as firmly tied in as I thought they were. This seems to be less a problem the more things I add to the journal, so in the end I think it will be fine.

This lockdown feels like it's been about 4 years long. I'm really grateful for my balcony garden and craft for distraction. Hope yours is going ok and doesn't get extended.

@@heyseaville55 doing ok. I have to be extra careful because my heart stopped last year and I have a pacemaker and in 2019 an operation for cancer. Just wish the weather was warmer so I could go for more walks. Husband works from home longer hours.
