If it helps I usually let the fabric colour and design guide me in how I stitched the page. I also find a lot of inspiration on KZbin and Instagram. There are many talented creators out there. Give it a go, you may be surprised by what you're able to create xx

Thank you for sharing your lovely book. On your fabric index page you could use a horizontal belly band across the page sewn in the middle of your book and held with some press studs on the left hand side which will hold your fabric swatches down when fastened. Then unclip and flip open the band when you want to go through the swatches... 😄

This book is so delicious! I especially love the front cover, two-page spreads, and the cohesiveness of each spread design. Thank you for sharing. I’ve subscribed and I’m eager to watch your other videos. To keep the swatches in place, one idea is to add a “flip-out” of sheer fabric the full size of the left page. It could be hinged on the left….with a tie or hooks or Velcro in the area between the left and right pages.

You are too kind 🥰🤗 I couldn't say exactly how long it took to complete. The challenge was set over several months and I would spend maybe 4 or 5 hours a week on it. Mind you a lot of time was spent trying to decide which fabrics and trims to use 😆
