It’s so understanding why you’re down. It’s like Christmas as a kid. Weeks planning it, fun with loved ones and then poof! It’s over. Plus you and anyone else who is such a deep Elvis fan becomes emotional about going to Graceland, the home of Elvis. I’m going to be going the first time with my son who’s a big fan. We may go down at Christmas time and I’m sure when it’s done I’ll feel blue. Trips are planned and so exciting. Then you add the fun of doing this with your mom. It’s a moment you shared with a loved one & now it’s over. Plus it wasn’t just any trip, it was a trip learning, seeing, hearing and feeling lots of emotions about Elvis himself. Give yourself time & be good to yourself for awhile. Then start planning another trip and stay at his Tupelo Apartment! Even if it’s in a few years. That’s how we move on. It’ll never be the same trip but you’ll eventually build that excitement up again. Same thing happens to me after trips, so, I’ll be getting in touch with you when I come home in the dumps. God bless. ❤️😢😄🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🎸🎸👍🏻

Hy Dani, i absolutly believe it was a bittersweet moment to leave Graceland, after planning the trip for so long and looking forward to go to this 'holy' place for so long. I don't know this song for so long, but i fell immediately in love with it when i hear it for the first time. The lyrics are so sweet , the whole song is so charming. 'I can't help falling in love with you' sorry.... it! One of the many underrated songs of Elvis! The intro itself is great! Hope you had a good time in Graceland and of course i envy you, but u devinitely deserved it! 💝

So many more obscure Elvis recordings from this period are actually pretty amazing. Loved your reaction as always. Sorry you are a little sad with the post-Graceland blues. Try listening to Elvis's 'laughing version' of 'Are you lonesome tonight - always works for me and guaranteed to cheer you up!

I’m sure the ghost of Elvis, on Union Ave, walked up to his gates of Graceland, and walked right on through, was sad to see ya go home Miss Dani. But think of it this way mate, you and your mum can always go again a lot easier than I can, cause y’all are closer to Graceland than I am. I got the entire big ass Pacific Ocean blocking my way! But you’ll be fine I’m sure.Love ya kiddo.❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🎼🎵🎶🎹🎸🕺
