In fairness, I think LeBron is the greatest of all time but obviously think the debate is close, recognize it’s a very subjective thing, and respect other people who think it is MJ/Kareem/Russell/etc. Don’t care almost at all about LeBrons longevity. I think you obviously need to be relevant for a long time to enter the conversation, but once you’ve hit the quota the rest doesn’t really matter I just think LeBron is better at basketball. Accomplishments or stats aside, I just think he is better at more things, more universal, bigger, stronger, faster, and smarter However, this has got to be one of the least nuanced, least insightful, elementary stances I’ve ever seen Reverse engineering the question is not fair because you’re already conceding the fact that you have a predetermined destination No nuanced mention of the state of the league, expansion, competition, talent (I understand there was mention of Jordan playing teams with a higher win total but that is also a byproduct of the the leagues talent pool thinning) No mention of coaching No mention of management and front office No mention of player mobility working for and against players You’re allowed to draw your own and different conclusions but it’s weird to act like everyone else is stupid for only using the criteria that you decided upon
