@@DeltaBlazin Not really, I'd say. What even was the story? Sonic just gets stranded on an island along with his friends, then he beats up stuff to get em back, then they get attacked by a planet. Amy's spheal about spreading love to the entire world doesn't make much sense, cuz we've seen how she already does that with Gamma and Shadow. And Tails just admits his character's inconsistent. And even with these ideas they don't even get actual character arcs within the game, we gotta wait for a sequel for that. I can't remember what the deal with Sage even was, aside from that silly flashback with memories of Eggman and her expositing. And she's kind of a waste of a character when Metal Sonic could fill her role, and he's an already iconic character that's gotten absolutely nothing in years. What was the story even about? Beats me. I've heard Sonic x Shadow gens had a great story though, from Pariah695 who tends to be very critical of Ian. And some of the archie comics were absolutely fantastic, I'd love to see some of em adapted into games.
