(Nee enne invite cheythirunnenkil njaan vannene) - Here we are referring to a situation that is unlikely to happen (second conditional). If you had invited me, I would have come. (Nee enne invite cheythuttundaayirunnenkil njaan varumaayirunnu.) - Here we are talking about a past situation, which is impossible to happen now (third conditional). When we want to express a regret, something we wish would have / should have / could have happened differently in the past, we use the third conditional. Hope this helps! 😊

This topic was very interesting😊. I learnt to use it but ma'am still I have a doubt, meaning of the first ( sentence with should) sentence is different without the second sentence. Why it is so? Is there any other such combination of sentences like this?. Evide oru thavana learn cheythathu unlearn cheyyunna pole oru feel. Need to have a flexible mind to understand the meanings😊. Thank you for your kind words! Both the sentences (with and without IF) have the same meaning. One might feel there's something wrong with the inverted sentences because one is not used to them. With more practice, you will start using them with ease. 😊

Mam, , If you invited me , I would attend the party = " WERE YOU TO INVITE ME , I WOULD ATTEND THE PARTY. " . Here Mam has used, TO ;+ BASE form of the verb. If like this the following sentence ; " If I were a bird., I would fly up in the sky. " Can we converted as Were I TO BE a bird, I would fly up in the sky. In your example Mam has mentioned the above sentence as ,"WERE I A BIRD, I WOULD FLY UP IN THE SKY." . You have not used TO+ BASE FORM of the verb in the above example. So I am asking you , can we say the above sentence, by using TO+BASE FORM of the verb. Please reply.

If something is highly unlikely to happen, we could say "If I were TO BE your neighbour,...." In this case we can invert the sentence as "Were I TO BE your neighbour, ...". In the example you have referred to, inverting the sentence as "Were I to be a bird...." is possible, but that just makes it complicated. Hope this helps.
