Fun fact; that joke at the end actually happened IRL. A teenage girl was getting spammed ads for pregnancy products because of advertising algorithms. When the furious father fond out and tried to confront the people sending the ads, the daughter confessed to actually being pregnant. The algorithm found out before her family

The pregnancy thing is pretty real actually. Target's "purchase history targeted coupons" ran into a weird situation where a guy was given maternity coupons, for diapers, clothes, and other baby stuff. He got pissed off that they thought he could ever want that... called to apologize a while later because he found out his daughter was pregnant. Target knew his daughter was pregnant before him, it's a pretty common thing.

Fun fact: the last joke about the baby, is an actual real story. When Target started tracking customer purchases and sending them customised discount brochures, this exact thing happened. Daughter hadn't told father she was pregnant, dad was angry at Target for sending baby stuff - 3 weeks later, dad calls to apologise, daughter was pregnant. Targets algorithm predicted she was pregnant from purchase history, before she actually told anyone.
