Something i realized riding alone versus riding with friends and not leading the way, riding alone forces you to choose your own lines and not follow along. I enjoy this personally and i think it makes me a better rider doing an occasional solo ride to work on practicing clutch control and overall basics.

Started riding a month ago mainly around parking lots as I’ve never been on a bike before. Watch up all the vids u can on shifting and clutch control I picked it up pretty quick. Went out on some real rocky trails for the first time the other day only dropped the bike twice did a lot better than I thought I would lol. Southern Nevada riding is great for some cool enduro trails and wide open desert spots for some speedy fun. My dad is a way better rider than me he helped me get up a couple hill climbs. Edit- got a klx 230 dual sport for my first bike. I’m thinking about upgrading to a husqvarna 300 2 stroke next summer.

I’ve slid down that exact hill 😂 hit the big bump lost all my speed and then tipped over 😂 getting back on the bike and down was the hardest part 😂

I ride quite often by my self, but always with in cell phone range. Sometimes it's better go to alone, no pressure and you set your pace and go were you want

Scratches are not to be worried about. They are a badge of honor. They signify to the other riders that you have ridden trails and climbed hills at the absolute limit. That, or you ride like shit... lol! In either case, they show that you ride to and beyond your limit and aren't afraid to take a challenge and improve your abilities. I won't fix scratches on my bike. If I go to sell it, I'll replace the plastics and keep my old ones and hang them in my shop. I love the look of banged up plastics. So much character.

I unfortunately ride mostly by myself. On occasion my sons will be with. It doesn’t help that I only have 2 friends who ride🤣. They also don’t ride dirt bikes To add to the Husky subframe breakage. They could also replace the metal bolts with plastic bolts that will actually break before the subframe. That way it’s not just flapping around. You sound about as nervous as i get when i go to the MX track

I do pretty much all solo riding and when I do hills, I don't even pay attention to them, just maintain a good speed and treat it like you are on a trail but just steeper. Now there are some hills where you go down like on that one but I think you psyched yourself out too much. You got it my guy, just go in knowing you can make it

@10:32 Squirrel!! The one bike I love solo destination riding and camping is my '04 KTM 525 MXC. I have the Garmin inreach with SOS satellite feature (never used it....yet) and love the topo map when the phone has no signal. I also love the Giant Loop Coyote dirtbike saddle bags! Riding alone is some of the most exhilarating and rewarding times because it is up to you and only you. I live in the US, high desert (slow technical to fast desert racing) I'm in my mid 40's and love not having to see a person for days Lol. Love your vids and Instagram, please keep posting since it is great content. Remember-sunny side up and rubber side down ;)

That feeling by the cliff you had is very normal, lots of people get it. I get it a lot, I might get it more than most actually, I'm not suicidal or depressed at all but I'm always considering driving head on into a tree or jumping off a roof or getting myself shot. Idk why, I don't enjoy getting hurt and I don't really want to die, it's just weird thoughts

Always ride by myself ..58 didnt ride for 25 years and now klx 450r l put biger back sprocket for hills seen less experience riders on ktm 2 strokes not make hill climbs l do so easy .. hit it fast keep head and weight over handle bars don't slip back on bumps don't use to much power or will flip .in Victoria Australia

I spent 3 days riding at wern ddu building up to that exact hill! I made it right to the top but did a slight jump, caught traction and flipped the bike! I thought I had it but in the words of vin diesel! You never had it lol 😂

Crazy steep hills. Personally I'd say riding by yourself keeps you more focused and you forget about showing off for your buddies that's why you almost made it up the second climb.

I love riding on my own, i actually spend more time riding so its better for ur fitness. When out in groups we just natter away 🤣. I dont try rediculous stuff tho where your bike might get tied up in a tree tho for example, leave that for when the lads are out in force haha

I was trying to turn my bike around in the trails a few days ago, my front tire was in a deep rut and it took so much tugging. I got it out and it gave one rug to turn it around and the thing fucking threw me of balance and fell. I ended up falling onto a searing pipe! Luckily my roost guard was at here to save me!
