You are correct, if you bog your engine a lot you will get more carbon build up on the inside of your pipe. I never had that problem, because I like to run my bikes at high rpm and almost always on the power, so I had very little carbon build up on the inside of my pipes.

Sounds sick dude, Have you tried running a leaner fuel mixture like 40 -1. This will just help make her more crisp the whole way through the power band and help it to fart around less in the tress and lower speed. I have a 2018 yz125 that I uses for enduro and run 50-1. Hasn't blown up after 50 hours and the piston, rings and spark plug looks mint. (This mixture is litres not gallons)
@MidWestMX2 жыл бұрын
It’s a fuel injected 2 stroke. I don’t mix the fuel. The bike mixes it for you to the exact measurement. It’s the future

To gain even more power remove the baffle from the exhaust end can. It will make the exhaust more free flowing and best of all no excessive back pressure causing over compression.

Will sound horrible and too loud though. I like mine nice and quiet
@jamespavitt29552 жыл бұрын
@@MidWestMX worthy sacrifice for more power plus you can hit the powerband quicker so no more nasty carbon deposits
@TheNavyseamonkey2 жыл бұрын
back pressure and resonance plays a big part in the power delivery of a two stroke engine, run a 50cc with no silencer and the power loss is noticed.
@jamespavitt29552 жыл бұрын
@@TheNavyseamonkey i done that as an experiment there was no power loss at all just a slight increase. So it depends but exhaust are very restrictive through the smaller diameter pipes also too much back pressure can kill the engine literally
