I hardly ever listen to secular music. There's only a handful of secular artists I like to mix in with my Christian mixes that I feel produce excellent music. So most of these tracks Beckah covers isn't even recognizable to me. And yet I love these tracks, they are great. They aren't cheesy like an Apologetix song (I think that's the name of the group that used to do "parodies" of secular songs with Christian lyrics.) These are straight up worship songs and I love that. I know there's some in the church who feel these shouldn't be done. But I know many early hymns took secular music to inspire the words to worship God with them. All music is a gift from God, I think taking it back from worldly uses and using it to glorify God is doing a good thing.

I a few days ago had the beat of one of Zedd songs playing in my head over & over. So when I went to take a shower I was trying to look it up on my KZbin music. I looked for it 3x's & couldn't find it. It wouldn't come up but I kept bumping into ur christian version of Zedd. Have you heard Beckah's "Champion" or "LIFE" albums/CDs? I think you'd really like those. Christian music is essential for us believers. It's what helps us through hard times and plays in our head long after the tune has drifted out of our speakers. Transitioning from secular music will shift your life and begin to set you apart.
