Haters Have Opinion Come on ,naseem had 37 fights and won them all except his 36th match.I believe what his coach said he changed a lot after winning the trophy and this the hardest part for anyone in this life when they get the millions it’s hard to keep it going .No body was like naseem ,if naseem was playing today,he would be richer than May weather.naseem was another level but at the time some people would wish to see the best get beaten .thats normal and I feel you 😁

@@user-oc5gh9lr4f Creating paper champions is easy at the lower weight classes. Between Super Bantam, Feather, and Super Feather they kept him in the easiest division of the three where they only had to duck one elite fighter in JMM. Nas was a paper tiger exposed the first time he stepped up and I'm not talking about MAB. Kelly exposed him. An ATG doesn't get knocker down 3 times in 4 rounds against a gatekeeper.

A little bit of my love of boxing died when Naz lost to Barrera. Imo if Naz had stayed with Ingle, Barrera was made for a top class Naz. A boxing lesson and a savage ko would of confirmed Hameds greatness, instead it confirmed his fatal flaw.

Naz had lost his mojo. Was sniffing gear(Allegedly) and partying most the time. He became a hype job instead of taking his opponents seriously. Great fighter but staying with the Ingles wasn't his undoing...It was staying hungry. Even at 100% Barrera would've caused Naz problems. Still a Legend though but didn't even listen to Manny Steward towards the end never mind the Ingles. That's why he lost to Barrera.
@chuck275

@@TextBookPuncher1 who knows, but partying is true. It was the money and the fame that got to him and that was certainly in his nature. He was the draw, him along with eubanks were the guys who from a boxing standpoint laid the foundations for what PPV is today and they were paid handsomely way back in the 90s. I liked him, really liked him but he was the master of his undoing, not dedicated and had yes men around him. Both the late Ingle Snr and Stewart made that point very clearly. Not even Mayweather could have succeeded the way he did without his father or uncle. He needed one or the other to teach him what to do for every fight and he often selected which of them would train him depending on who he was facing. Uncle Mayweather's style was more offensive and Mayweather snr's style was totally defensive. Fighters don't always see what the great trainers see and that is one of the reasons for Nassem's fall at the end. Naz will go down in history, he's a living legend. But Naz's problem was always going to be his huge ego. Nuff respect to Ingle Jnr too,; he's great, just like his late father.

@@kaipovilla1343 That's why Emmanuel Steward said, "In order to beat Barrera, I'd have to have Naseem forget all he knows about boxing and teach him from scratch.". Naseem had power and reflexes, but was technically weak. A disciplined fighter exposed him. No version of Naseem beats Barrera. He knows it. That's why he forgot about the rematch and retired.

@@Ardi-wd9kz Emmanuel Stewart didnt develop Hamed. Ingle had him from age 7. Hamed displayed the Ingle fighting style brilliantly against Robinson. Not bad that a technically weak fighter like Hamed reigned as WBO champ for 5 years and became lineal fw champ for 3. Hamed being a multi millionaire by his mid 20s had more to do with his early retirement than anything else.

@@kaipovilla1343 Never said Steward developed him. Only said Steward thought Hamed could never beat Barrera. I trust Steward's opinion more than yours.

@@Ardi-wd9kz I could give a rip if you do. My point is the Hamed who was trained by INGLE at his peak had the tools to beat Barrera. Steward wasnt even Hameds primary trainer after Ingle, it was Oscar Suarez. Steward was barely a part time trainer in his camp.

Whether you Brits or Arabs like it or not , Barrera would have beaten naz no matter who he had in his corner.

@@sugs1191 You are supposed to win against a gatekeeper. You also aren't supposed to look bad. That fight exposed Nas as another European hype-job. He had the boxing IQ of a 4 year old. He couldn't for the life of himself not fall for traps.

If he fought Barrera 5 times, and had God in his corner, he would have been beaten 5 times, each time worse than the last. Total rubbish and he knows it.
