From boy to man-Boy Alinko has grown, and I could barely recognize my friend Bayo. The first thing you truly noticed in America was how our bodies and appearances changed. But beyond that, many of us are struggling with family issues, often stemming from relationships and the pressures of American society. Adapting to the way Americans speak, trying to fit in, and even facing comments like, “You came from Nigeria to take our jobs,” can be unsettling. At times, these experiences can be deeply traumatizing.

The African American woman is not dominant by choice. She became the way she was because the government drove the man out of the house. After all, they wanted to weaken the black man because of his firm and powerful nature, which resulted in black women being single-head of the household in America.

It should be place of origin otherwise ibos will overrun every tribe and states in Nigeria.
@akinsoladickson62849 күн бұрын
That is not possible. Nigeria has never been one. So, it can never be your place of birth. That will be possible if there is Yoruba Nation.
@POLITICO909 күн бұрын
No I dont want place of birth in Nigeria....we are not the same people and we were forced to be together. People are attached to their place of origin through their ancestors. Stop comparing American to Africans, 98% of Americans are immigrants from Europe, Africa etc so they cant claim state of origin but Nigeria situation is different. Nigeria problem is not state of origin but corruption and lack of vision. Put Nigeria back to regional federalism that we agreed on 1945 conference or break up the country. The south west region performed better than many countries in Europe under Awolowo in a regional federalism during the first republic

Your spouse should not be able to “instruct” your employer on how to allocate your wage or salary. That is your responsibility. However, she could dictate the allocation directly to you, if she has such power or influence over you. There’s more to the story than what is being told here, and that’s understandable. It’s not all cloths we dry in the sun.

Not only Africa America, it’s all women that loves you. Men are just taking advantage of women in other culture bc there’s no rule guiding that in their country. By the way, these people are not the way you see them. I think it’s bc of your situation that she’s taking advantage of you. They’re not sincere with themselves and ‘TRUST’ is a big issue in this country. All the stories she heard about man taking care of the home is just over exaggerated. And we are not polygamy in nature!!! Men should stop saying that for doing what they want to do or doing. It’s bc there’s no law guiding monogamy, even where they have it, there men divorce one and go to the next. It’s a very serious situation. Congratulations to you and family.

@kayodeadebiyi, you will live long in good health and wealth o. Nigerians love tales of woe. We are the only citizens of a country that constantly speak evil about their country. Even with all the atrocities committed in the US, you never hear Americans speak ill of their nations. I am a proud product of Nigeria 🇳🇬. Living in Nigeria and thriving well. Are there challenges, yes. As there are everywhere in the world. We just choose to magnify 🔎 them. Nigerians feel that when they move abroad ,closer to their colonial masters, doing menial jobs, they are better than Nigerians at home. What a slave mentality!
@MrLAPAZ7 күн бұрын
I think you're not on point. What he's saying is based on the percentage of the woes of the people abroad, which I truly understand... so you should get understanding before you type a word next time... people like you are the ones who will be acting like like Hitler just because a few of you didn't go through the stress believing everyone is like you..... Very insensitive people

You need not accuse individuals of dishonesty simply because you have not experienced it yourself. Behaviors of a more severe nature occur in this context. It is essential to consider the possibility that this may have been a confidential matter, where she genuinely assisted him in securing a job. His mention of the possibility of the lady observing the situation raises doubts about his intention to deceive. Fortunately, he is now liberated. Some individuals, due to lack of foresight, may find themselves legally bound by adopting their partner's children, leading to perpetual financial obligations. There exist far more challenging circumstances, my dear. Refrain from passing judgment hastily if circumstances have not proven challenging for you. I approach this matter with peace in mind.
@awotesu5 күн бұрын
@@temitayocharles-oke4076 You made a valid point, but I can see that you're speaking from an emotional perspective. Engaging further with someone who is emotional often leads to unproductive discussions, and I don't have the time for that. However, I can say for certain that some of Teju's guests embellish their stories when they come on the show. If you watch closely, you'll notice that Teju is quite perceptive; he sometimes asks his guests the same question in different ways, and they provide inconsistent answers. If you believe that this is them being truthful with you, I wish you all the best.
