24:14: Hypno (and by extension, Drowzee) are based off of the Japanese yokai called the Baku, which in turn is based off of folklore regarding the real-life Malaysian Tapir, which states that it protects people while they're sleeping by eating dreams, preferably the _bad_ ones...though according to Poke-lore, Hypno and Drowzee actually can't stomach bad dreams, and would rather eat their good dreams (kinda like the difference between eating something healthier that tastes vile and makes you need to use the restroom, giving you the runs, and eating an ice-cream pie that's not very nutritious, but extremely delicious). This is represented by the literal Pokemon move, _Dream Eater_ , that siphons health from a Pokemon... but under the caveat that they have to be sleeping first for it to work. I'm not sure when Game Freak started the concept of 'Signature Moves,' but _Sleep_ and _Dream Eater_ were almost certainly Hypno and Drowzee's, back in the gen they were introduced.

17:30: I mean; yeah? It *IS* ghost-type. I'm pretty sure that many of them used to be human at some point, since Spiritomb is claimed to be pulling a 'We are Legion!' sort of scenario, made up of 108 evil souls; Gengar's entry outright states that it stalks and _kills_ humans walking alone at night, so it can have a new 'best-buddy-forever' to play with in the afterlife; and Drifbloom's entry says that it is born from a mass of souls that died all at once, especally in the humid season (for some reason; don't know why they tacked on that last bit of information regarding the climate); plus, Honedge is the soul of a warrior who fell in battle and their soul fused with the blade they spent their life fighting with (and they possess anybody who picks up their sword, slowly draining them of their life essence, just so they can experience the sensations of having a human body once again, after being locked in a bit of cold steel for ages). And in the anime and manga, various Ghost-types just *_KNOW_* how to speak the human language, and it's never really elaborated on (they didn't need training like Meowth or Zoroark; and they supposedly don't have Telepathy like Lucario or Alakazam). Nobody questions it, but I think that's because on some level, they understand it's because they _used to _*_BE_*_ people_ !
