Looks like a decent homebrew homage. Sensible Soccer did get a Game Boy port [which is not very good] so similar Z80 based I suppose showed this was possible.

@@doughnutdoney997 I didn't own a c64 but still played (and loved) "Sensi" (Microprose Soccer) on c64. I loved Kick Off 2 (Amiga) for all it''s faults but never played Sensible Soccer's variants since Kick Off 2. I've seen a the various videos of Sensisible Software's releases of the updates/upgrades but never found time to get into any of them due to the work schedules of inferior games :( Hopefully it's two player and I can download it to "inflict" on my wife and kids during our annual holiday. Easy win for Dad!

You could never dribble with the ball like that on SS, as soon as you changed direction, it went flying away. Or maybe it was just me 🙈
