Recently,CJI is seen probably rightfully taken such action in the R.G.KAR COLLEGE LADY DOCTOR's rape & murder case. I question this because there are several such cases all over India & most of these are as henious as that of R.G.Kar College & these incidents, how is it that CJI was not impressed to move forward with so called SUOMOTO action or is it specially instilled in by ,I doubt, our Home Ministry & to earn a flamboyancy before Retirement!

Supreme Court laying down guidelines for bulldozer demolitions is a sort of mocking at the people of India. When it is evident that the governments in question were acting illegally and it was clear their actions were abuse of authority, the SC if it is genuinely concerned about upholding the law, it should initiate stringent action against the officials who acted unlawfully by obeying unlawful orders of the governments concerned. Without doing this minimum for upholding the majesty of the law anything else amounts to failing the people affected by government's brazen disregard for the rule of law.
