TBH Queek is so un-skaven it's almost funny. He inspires such loyalty in his personal honour guard that the captain of the unit, of his own volition, put his life on the line to take a blade about to hit Queek. You never hear of Skaven inspiring like that, but he does it somehow.

He is quite possibly the only Skaven in existence with an unbreakably loyal and dependable friend/underling, that being Ska Bloodtail. It's a crime that Ska isn't a Legendary Hero for Queek. Its a damn shame that easily the coolest Skaven character (with Ikit being a close second) is basically a generic lord with nothing at all interesting going for him in Total Warhammer.

Story Time! So me and my friend have a long-running joke about Queek being a better friend than him. We think this because in our first Joint Campaign we played back in TWW2, I was playing Settra and my friend was a Knife-Ear pretty boi. Queek showed up on my border and threw me a Non-Aggression Pact offer that turn. I accepted because I was in a war with 2 or 3 people at that time. Next turn rolls around. He throws me a Defensive Alliance offer. I accepted a little suprised at how fast he grew attached...But I was in for another shock...Next turn rolls around...Military Alliance from the Dead Man-Thing? Yes-Yes. 3 turns after meeting and he wanted a Military Alliance. And so we laughed...But it was just the beginning of our budding friendship...A few turns later...Since I had control of the northern Port I took from Bretonia, I got Diplomacy Meets with half the world...And someone WAY UP IN THE NORTHERN WASTES declares war on me. Queek, being the good Ally joins the War in my Defense. And then all is quiet for a while...Then...About 10 turns later...I get a camera shift way up North...I dont understand why my camera yanked me but then I notice a red armored rat shouting profanity at the walled city of the northern enemy who declared war on me...This rat crossed the entire map to beat the snot out of someone for insulting me. And so he was a legend...And then we started a new Campaign...And I ran into Queek as another Legendary Lord...And he chose to Military Align with me again. And another campaign. And another. Nearly every campaign that me and my friend play, no matter who I am, if I meet Queek, he sends me friend requests. And thus you now know why Queek is my best friend despite being an Ai.

They infantry is weak even with buffs, the archers mediocre at best and they cavallery expensive. The knights are cool though and I like they art style. It's bright and like from a fairy tale, not as dark as the other factions.

I really hope Queek gets a huge revamp in the future. His campaign is only somewhat interesting because he himself is a cool character. He basically plays like a generic lord. If he had a unique mechanic (Karak Eight Peaks is nothing), had Ska Bloodtail and his Crimson Guard (maybe as a auxiliary banner like Da Immortulz) and actually buffed Stormvermin instead of just getting them slightly quicker, he'd be one of the most fun campaigns in the game.
