They still use coal instead of fuel too. So yes, XIXth century not XXth

Norsca, The best improvement norsca got from game 3 was walled settlements because without them, with the sword of Kaine, all garrisons are maxed ranked. And the turning of regular settlements into your own, you can paint the map so it severely reduces the risk of you getting bone zoned due to the AI deciding to take your main turf. But Norsca needs a few more units since the army composition will always end up with the very few units from marauders, mammoths and skin wolves, and sometimes norscan warhounds. For additional context, the reason why walls are great comes from not that it was difficult to defend, but because to compensate, Norsca gains a dew additional base garrison units, however when a rebel army spawns, that army determines whether there is a wall or not, thus will attack on turn 1 with a very tiny as hell army, this is before the garrison building. Its why with the sword of kaine, the idea of public disorder becomes a fucking joke in game 2. However I always wonder, what if Norsca could gain very minor benefits from the chaos gods? Maybe the shrines can produce a specific chaos god favor, like sure you can teleport but as a cruel joke from said chaos god, the army is suffering from teleportation sickness thus all stats are in the shit. Do not get into a battle or the timer will reset.
