When we just needed it to be able to run, we didn’t need to be a run only team.We got rid of every weapon we had last year except Palmer and I don’t feel like we replaced any of them . They should be on the phone right now letting teams know which players they are interested in come Monday morning. We don’t need anymore Blocking TE ‘ s either Cleveland’s tight end or don’t get one go get Mike Williams back just for this season and pick up a hot prospect that can go get the ball downfield that’s gonna open up the run game for us right now. Look. I think the Boltz can be a wild card team this year. It would be a great turn around and unexpected. Given the state of the Chargers at the end of last season, the transformation of this team has been remarkable. But, I do think Bolt fans need to be a little more realistic in their expectations. This team still could use “that guy”on the D line to add to the amazing improvement we have already seen. We are going to need replacements for Mack, Bosa and Asante, all three are not likely to be on the team next year… that is TWO EDGE players that need to be filled. Bozeman and Pip are not cutting it on the interior OLine. A solid, experienced guard in free agency is needed. Need a tight end, hopefully Loveland is still there when they draft. I see Hortiz doing more value free agency magic and building even better depth as well. You will see a HUGE improvement next year. The player depth has been greatly upgraded, but, especially on defense, this team is playing much better than the sum of their parts. They clearly need more talent, especially in the skill positions and the OLine. If the OLine is Harbaugh’s “tip of the spear”, then it definitely needs to be sharper and more dominant. Zion needs to learn how to pass block.

I think we could get both of them even though we've only got like 7.8 million in cap space. We can turn some of their salary into signing bonuses right? I think we can do that. I think that this is anyone's game. Over the years, I've learned that we play up or down to our competition, that's why I wasn't as sure as everyone else that we would beat the Cardinals a few days ago. Everyone said we would blow out the Cardinals because their defense was so poor, but I wasn't convinced. I've followed this team too long to get too excited about that possibility. No game with the Chargers is a gimme. Let's just keep our hopes up but don't let your exceptions be too high. And I think it's fine that the Chargers take the leftovers from other teams, but when do we start getting topflight players who aren't leftovers? We have a lot of cap space next season, so I see that as the season I'm most interested in.

The team as a whole has a tough time staying healthy, There's a bigger underlying issue than adding new talent. It's normal to have a couple of people banged up, it's not normal to have a LOT of players consistently staying injured. Tough spot to be in, not a sustainable style of football. This isn't college where you can recruit new talent ever freaking week to replace the people you run into the ground until they're back.

Ladd is out now. I suggest getting some volunteers from the fanbase to volunteer to be a receiver for Herbert (lol). Management is as quiet as a mouse when boosting up the receiving corps. Maybe this means they do see this as a rebuilding season. Let's not forget all the dropped passes from the last game. Herbert can complete a lot of passes, but how many touchdowns did it get us? None! Justin can be wonderful at passing with great pass protection, but you still have to have receivers who can catch the ball. Plus, teams flood the box because they don't fear our receivers, thereby shutting down the running game. Let's not be in denial here. We're doing all we can to beat a below-average team. And still we're nervous as to whether we'll win or not. We're an OK team right now, but we're rebuilding, we're not a playoff team this year, but be patient. In the next two years, our team might really be something.
