They need a true 3 down TE, upgrade interior OL, and a difference maker at interior DL. And as always, as many DBs as you can stockpile. Ladd, QJ, and Palm are evolving to an above average room (2 first rounders). Biggest takeaway? The Chargers offense moved the ball well against a quality defense. The Kitty Cats don’t have a quality defense and can’t stop the run. Gus Bus keeps them honest up the middle and JK will slash for chunks. Chargers have 4 drives (at least) of 10 plays/8+ minutes, Burrow gets impatient with limited possessions and throws a couple picks. Chargers win 27-23

Those loses where results of referees bogus calls and non calls

Every single one of our losses were in hand. We could be 9-0 but that is the NFL and we couldn’t finish off good teams. We still have a lot to prove

Injuries in the Steelers and Chiefs games could have been the difference. Arizona… the refs robbed them, BUT, score one TD instead of five FGs and that is a win. The team seems to be getting healthy at the right time.

@@texmcboogI actually think we lost the Cardinals game due to coaching. Harbaugh had an opportunity to go for it on 4th in the RZ and force the cardinals to score a TD with 2 minutes left and not a measly FG. Our defense was gassed from the 300 missed tackles and the 3 and out drives for a whole quarter and you expect them to win the game was a mistake. Even if you don’t convert the 4th down atleast you have an opportunity to play defense and get the ball back because we still had 2 times outs.. terrible decision

Zion is a 2.5 year starter for us. Not great at all, but has been serviceable enough with lineman changes all around him coming/going. (Linsley, salyer, Bozeman now, Pipkins a bit) I’d say Zion has to be the best from that draft just cuz he’s a starter for us. Horvath never was, and doesn’t even play for us

Bud Dupree has more sacks than Khalil Mack this season so chill on the narrative that we struggle to get sacks outside of Mack. Bud Dupree and Tuli have played well and stepped up because Mack got a boo boo last game and Bosa had been hurt and in and out of games. Our front 7 has lots of guys contributing to the sack total this year not just Mack lol. I think Mack has 4.5 and the team has over 20 so he doesn’t even have a 1/4 of the team sacks which is a good problem to have. The best ball for this pass rush is actually coming up and this Bengals team is ripe for another dominant pass rush performance from every guy on the front 7 throw Derwin in there. Derwin has been close on those blitzes with the QB totally a sitting duck but most of the time it’s been a delayed hand off or a draw play.

Chargers had zero depth with Telesco and all his gambling on findnng "the one."

I think you’re tweakin on the 2022 draft class. No stars but Jasir Taylor is a NFL starter, Jamaree Salyer saved our season that year, Zion Johnson although a below average starter is one, Ottito is a good rotational NT for this team and all of those players have contributed Atleast 10 times more than Horvath ever did. Not hating on Horvath but that is an unhinged statement. Telesco wasn’t perfect but you can see what good coaching has done to elevate these players. That was always the missing ingredient with this team and you can’t scape goat the GM. Tom is gone so can we stop bringing him up it’s old news and he will never be our GM again. Ortiz is doing a great job so far but it takes dedication and buy in from those players that’s the Harbaugh effect more than it is the GM
