I'm a coach. I moved a player from midfield to center forward because I felt he would be the perfect player for that spot. He's scored in every game since he was moved there, at least one per game n sometimes 2. We play a certain way n it creates many opportunities to score but he's the one that fits that position. Not everyone can play that spot n he hasn't complained once even though he likes midfield.

I get were Mbappe is coming from to some extent, he was set to leave the club because of his own reason, was about to sign a deal with Madrid then PSG went over and about to try and keep him in the club, they made all these promises and gave Mbappe a deal which was hard to reject let's be honest, then Mbappe decides to go back to PSG and everything they promised him isn't there, maybe some of the things PSG promised Mbappe were really crazy but they had to stick to the deal. It's not perfect at all. Henry was in at Barca because he wanted a UCL. He was not needed nor the star man and was replaceable. Messi was the star man of Barca and when he didn't want to play on the wings but centrally, even though he had Ibra who is a striker who CANNOT play on the wings, he got his way with Pep. Regardless of whether it was for the good of the team or not. Mbappe has the right to choose wherever he wants to play at PSG because he is the team's star, and did not ask to play with Messi to even accommodate him in the first place. Left wing is his best position. You build around your best players. It's a simple concept. He seemed like he wanted to leave last summer (most likely to Real) but they threw so much money at him and everyone including the president, Qatar etc. got involved, so he ended up staying. Now when a few promises aren’t met, he is acting out and it’s not shocking because he probably didn’t really want to stay in the first place.
