To explain, Solitaires are unique members of the Eldar Harlequins, and are the only ones permitted to take on the role of Slaanesh in the Harlequins esoteric performances. As a consequence, unlike other Harlequins, their souls aren't innately protected by their following of Cegorach, so when they die Cegorach has to compete against Slaanesh in some fashion to get their souls back. Conveniently, there aren't that many of them, Eldar live a really long time, and the Solitaires are incredibly skilled fighters, even by the standards of the Eldar.

Also, i know that especially the pilot concerning the White Scars has at times mostly exposition in the form of "..and it has this and that as well", but it perhaps adds more to the weird of the oldest book. Also. ALL OF TTS IS NONSENSE ! Highly entertaining nonsense, yes, with a framework of a story which encompasses it all, and even though the story is, indeed entertaining in its own right by now, to say that things that are an actual part of it, isn't ... that is simply incorrect. My suggestion would be, that as for the podcasts, he watches the pilot in about three parts and records his reactions, and after that do as he like with the recorded material. You seem to want him to catch up asap, while i think that he'll catch up eventually anyway.

Reactors draw a crowd of followers from the fans of the material they are watching, and those followers, in all likelihood, will go and watch the rest of the material themselves when the reactors' undoubtedly slow update schedule fails to properly satisfy their wants. Put quite simply, it's exposure, and it's not like Alfabusa and his compatriots are making a significant amount of money from ad revenue(that's what Patreon is for) or raising a fuss about people recording themselves watching it or including the clips; they're all pretty chill, they probably recognize the merits of reactors and how singling them out makes you seem like kind of an asshole even if you aren't necessarily in the wrong for disliking them, and all the reactors I've seen thus far have credited the cast and crew of TTS and insist that their followers support them, as they do with virtually EVERYTHING they react to, and I have yet to see someone actually take credit for the work Alfabusa and co. I, for one, watched the entirety of TTS myself, and after several _years_ of sporadically checking, the series finally started getting a few regulars. I still watch the series from time to time, especially when a new episode comes out, and I spread the word whenever I can, but there's still something immensely satisfying about watching someone sit down and see the same thing I have.

for context: the Solitaries are members of the Harlequins(a subfaction of Eldar that independent from them, that acts on the worship of Cegorach, the clown boi), Harlequins oftne perform in habiated worlds even for non eldar(since generally no one will dare to attack ro stop the harlequins from doing so). they perform their main play: the fall of the eldar filling g a number of roles: the solitaire is special ni this regard because they have ot play the role of Slaneesh , this causes them ot be a special case among eldar that cannot carry a soulstone(due ot the nature of eldar of embracing the aspects of everythnig they do, it would make dangerous for other eldar), by the way all harlequins are also elite performer/warriors this is why ppl wont sto pthem from performing their plays evne on otherwise enemy worlds. as for th SOlitaire their role makes thme one of the few kind of eldar who is vulnerable ot having their soul consumed by slaneesh upon death, and this is where they get their special treatmenet among the rest: Cegorach will personally contest Slaneesh for their souls ot protect them. however..he doesnt always win.
