Not a large fan of the lack of that one instrument from the nutcracker's original theme, it really felt like it was a lot of it's identity The jester wind up was better than the original and the chase would absolutely go hard. I especially love the wind up still ramping up the anxiety before the pop. The loot bug theme is a perfect fit wether they're walking by or attacking The coil head theme seems like it would be more comedic with how intense it is and it standing completely still, which would fit lethal company perfectly (also how people would be laughing at it until literally anything else shows up) Bracken theme adds a lot of personality while taking away from nothing. I see this as an absolute win

Thank you. I use fl studio. Moast of the instrument used here are from orchestral librarys that were made to dound epic, although this video is a month old now. Ive changed my approach to epic orchestration a lot in that time. For the main librarys I use now: Spitfire audios: bbc symphony orchestra (core), albion collosus, original epic percussion. orchestra tools: tableau solo strings Audio imperia: nucleus lite If you are new to orchestral production I'd recommended getting nucleus lite and many of the free instruments given by spitfire audio, orchestral tools and project sam. The originals series for spitfire audio is also a good start. I don't really use any advanced techniques. I mostly play around with the volume, velocity, panning and the articulations of instruments. But I'm also have a lot to improve. I've been actively using fl studio for 1 year. Thats basically everything l. I recommend checking out the channle: kevin kuschel for tutorials and information about orchestral plugins. Also all the sites that sell orchestral library have sales very often so id wait befor buying something. I hope this helps

Huh ? So I didn't comment on the first vid ? That can't be right. Well I do remember the themes sooo let's see. Nutcracker theme though I may have already told you that elsewhere, is really good. My only question is, why pick that part of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker while you could've picked the opening ? It's even more representative. More vibrant, more explosive, kinda like the Nuts' Shotguns. This gives the wrong impression, as if the Nut is some sneaky enemy, one that slides in and out of view, kinda like... A Bracken ? I feel like picking the opening would've been better (at least I think it's the opening). You could even have tried to like, remake it in minor to make it sound more ominous. Another "almost perfect" I'd say. Would have been nice to have a title that's in the same feel as the others too btw. Okay just took another listen. I have to take back somenof the stuff I said. Had forgotten that it gianed a LOT in intensity, a kond of "unforgiving" one too with that brass, which is EXACTLY it. For the ominousness, there _are_ those notes in the background that play since the beginning which is good. But the mix of them and those "clap claps" you added, I'm not sure of it keeps the ominousness while giving it a rustic feel or if it ends up making it sound a bit silly. Still, the part that gains in intensity definitely shows you the images of you running away, of the blasts closely risking to kill you, the fact you didn't choose the opening honestly matters a lot less to me now. But it would still have been interesting and probably better, musically. The "feels too silent, not present enough, almost sneaky/Bracken-like" is still a little relevant, it's probably because you went for chimes at the beginning there. Nothing much about Jester Wind Up theme, you did a great job with the instrumentation, almost even changed the pace. CHASE THEME THO, relistening to it rn, it is really good. Instrumentation is good. And it keeps the wind up theme's leitmotif which is very good. It may be a bit too menacing at the end... While it should feel like release ? Not sure. Another way to do it would've gone to make it super extra intense and then just stop suddenly once you pass that door. Hoarding Bug criticism you've already read cause I told you about it in your vid for the Snare Flea theme. A shame the silly side of it got too focused on. Coil-Head is good. That beginning is definitely what I hear in my head the second I see one of those mfs pop up during one of my playthroughs. Great title, captures the feel of the immense threat it actually is really well, with an almost supernatural tone. Not sure about the intention of a buildup towards death, kind of an easy escape ? I mean what if you do get away from the Coil-Head ? You're could've played on the fact you can manage to have it leave you alone for some time but constantly coming back eventually, which happens in most cases. Good use of the choirs, it's definitely fitting for the Coil-Head given the fear effect you have when one gets really close to you. Bracken theme I honestly don't know... Starts off calmly, in an almost military way. I'm not sure about the intention behind that one. A calm theme that doesn't go too much in the "epic" is definitely fitting. Those pizzicatos at first are really good. The "oo scary violins" for lack of a better way to call them, are also really good, they underline the feeling of something always following you and of always having to look behind you really well. From the moment the neck snap happens, see that's where I wasn't sure at first but relistening I sorta get the intent, but it only sticks to the situation where you see one of your teammates be killed in front of you and get taken away. That desperate tone it gives off is definitely a way it can be interpreted, not sure I see how else. And then we go back to the beginning which makes sense since after having stolen a corpse, the Bracken always returns to its hunting. Pretty good theme. What it lacks is something to describe the creature itself more. You know that sort of rumbling, angry sound it makes when being looked at for too long ? The rustling of the leaves on its back ? I know it's probably hard to coin but going for something like that would have also been interesting for the Bracken. Hope you enjoyed reading that feebck once more, thx for the time you tool reading it. I guess this means goodbye for good given inve commented on all the others, it just felt strange to me that I hadn't on this one but apparently not, and for shame because Nut, Jester and Coil are honestly reaaaaally good.

Like with most of the themes I tried to go for a more situational theme with the jester, coilhead and bracken. The end of the jesters theme is supposed to be the moments after you escape and just think about what just happened. Coil heads theme shows the immediate tension it brings once it spawns. The string part encapsulates all the times where players are stuck in impossible situations because of the coil head. Brackens theme was inspired by yoshikage kiras theme. Its supposed to show the stalking calm side of the bracken that goes out the window the moment you anger him. I of course still tried to juggle the mix of Epicness, horror and goofiness of all the monsters and the game. Thank you for all of your comments. It's been fun reading all of them. Also new monsters are coming to lethal company so i guess i gotta keep this tradition of making themes for them going.
