The only thing more exhausting than loving someone who doesn’t love you back, is hoping they’ll eventually come around.
So when someone isn’t ready for us,
we try harder.
We continue to show up in hopes that they’ll want us back.
If someone isn’t ready for you
For the glory of you and the uniqueness of you.
Then they simply are just not ready.
But do not let that shrink you.
Don’t let it make you become less of a person
No.
Because the truth is, when people say they’re into you, but are just not ready for you, what they’re really saying is that they are not ready for themselves.
Which also means you will never get the best of them.
And you,
you deserve everything of the best.
That’s why whatever it is you’re seeking from other people, try to find a way to give it to yourself.
Because love shouldn’t be a war you have to fight to keep hold of.
And at the times where you feel like you have nothing left to give,
and your heart is running on empty,
I want you to remember this.

I honestly don't know what happened or why he ended it for sure. I'm pretty sure it was someone whom we both know talking sh*t and feeding him lies. He had been kinda mean to me 3 days before.. so I had not messaged him in those 3 days, then out of nowhere, late at night I get the text if doom. No matter what has ever happened before, he always maintained contact and when things went wrong fir him he always came back. Now he's unfriended me on Facebook, and I know he's a lurker.. so I know he's watching what I post. I haven't been posting anything relevant to this situation and I know he's expecting me to message him begging him to come back but I haven't nor will I because I am not the one who messed up and ended it ... It was in a very hurtful way too. I do love him and don't want him to be totally gone from my life. Idk what to do. I feel like I at least deserve an apology, for how disrespectful he had been. If he does message me wanting to work this out.. what do I do? I mean there are things that will have to be different and I do know he has respect for me and that he does care and does have feelings for me. This whole thing is a result of an impulsive reaction out of anger and frustration. We both did things the wrong way, but I apologized for my actions before the conversation ended.

My ex was my first ever bf, and I thought he helped me with a lot like losing weight and dressing better since he wanted me to feel good about myself... turns out he never found me sexually attractive since I was overweight and lied the whole relationship about it waiting for me to lose enough weight for him to find me sexaully appealing... 65lbs and it wasn't enough. And 2 months before I finally ended it (hardest thing I had to do, i only did it because he admitted he didnt feel love for me and I had too much pride to stay) he met a girl at the gym and ended up liking her. She never liked him back but imagine how it felt for him to fall out of love with me (if he ever even loved me) just to fall in love with a girl who put him in the friend zone... so much lies... a lot of pain to heal from... but believe me, u deserve so much better. I do blame myself. But I also realise that not all are meant to be loved. After being used, betrayed, and painfully abandoned, I promised myself never to let it happen ever again. Even if this meant never approaching anybody for the purposes of friendship nor to find a girlfriend. My method worked flawlessly. I have not been back stabbed by false friends nor betrayed by a fake girlfriend since 8 August 2000. Of course this means I have no friends nor a girlfriend. However, everything has its price. The price I paid of having nobody in my life is far worth never having to be used, betrayed, and painfully abandoned ever again. My case 1:1. Three weeks ago I ended a relationship (girl-on-girl situation). One and a half years of relationship. I just want to say thank you. I mean I'm sure you know the pain I feel right now and that's partially why you made this video, but genuinely thank you. It hurts so much when every fiber of your being says "They're the one!" and you have every reason in the world to move on but you still feel such impossible amounts of love for someone only to find that love hitting a brick wall with nothing on the other side. I try to reason with it every day and list off every reason why she doesn't deserve me and why I don't deserve her and yet I still feel that maybe if one day her heart told her what mine tells me then everything would be alright, but that day isn't coming. I know it won't and yet I find it impossible to let go of the hope that it will. I've grown up with her and we were together a long time ago and I've never stopped feeling terrible for the way things turned out between us, but we were so young then and we've been such good friends for so long afterwards, but ever since she's never felt any sort of love for me at all. I know I'll never be able to change the past but I never stop wishing I had been better when that love was there. Never stop wishing that even now when she's finally moving away and forming a life of her own without me in it and I'm slowly slipping away from years of friendship and growth together and she forgets me more and more each day, that I had just been better. I'm getting better at not feeling the pain as much anymore, but the thoughts still circulate every day and I don't know where to go from here. Same here, I came to live in a foreign country for her, she said she was coming also, told me to just give her some time. What I finally realized is that she'd stopped loving me along time before but was keeping me open for money. I sent her money on 2 different occasions. After the last she just cut me off.

Nah man, don't question your or their emotions. They were real but it wore off because of circumstances that made your partner feel insecure about themselves. When they retreat and you pull them back, fearing to lose them, they get even more intimidated. In that moment, where you curse the unfortunate timeline you are in, there is no better option than letting the person find themselves. They will take their time and not return. They will find someone new. They may come back but hoping that they will will tear you apart. Today, my long time crush told me he started liking someone. All this time, I thought we felt the same way. Because of corona we couldnt see each other and we talked about doing it after. He told me he didnt want an online relationship because a real relationship should be more than that. And I believed him because I thought the same. But his words today were the exact opposite of what he made me believe. And as painful as it is, this very day, I decided to leave him and free myself from thinking hed change his mind. Im not sure whats gonna happen in the future, but Im sure I worth more than this present that I have.

I just discovered this video, and I needed it. I have been in a relationship for a few years, and despite her being so mean, and saying the most horrible and hurtful things, I have stayed. Why....Idk, maybe like the video said, I just thought that if I tried harder, and kept showing up, she would come around. Bottom line, I am convinced that some people just don’t have hearts or compassion. I am tired of being hurt, when all I wanted to do was love this person and give them the world. It doesn’t supposed to “make you feel better”, it supposed to make think and realise you need to change your focus. Enough of being everything about them and start focusing on yourself. As long as you keep expecting someone to make you happy, the longer you will be unhappy. Take your power back, be happy first and then find someone who want to share it with you. 🙏
