Sid isn't really guilty of anything. The director said that even though he's the opposite of Andy, he's not a bad kid. He's actually a rather typical boy. Andy is an idealized version of a child playing with his toys, but Sid is a more realistic depiction. Cause let's be honest, most kids aren't as innocent as Andy. Or at least I wasn't. Since Sid didn't know that toys are sentient, he cannot be charged with cruelty. He was just displaying some genuine creativity and engineering on inanimate objects

No she is. The movie just tries to gaslight you into thinking she isn't. Her motivation is basically identical to the Prospector's. Wanting to be loved by children but ignored due to her defective voice box making her creepy. And her methods for attaining that goal are not only similar to his, but also far more heinous as it involves coercing woody into giving up a vital part of his body. And as if that wasn't bad enough, she actually gets away with it. Also while this is never brought up, Jesse is from the same toy line as woody and would likely have the same kind of voice box woody does. If she realized there was a Jesse toy around with a voice box in similar or better condition to woody's she would have gone after her to. And if she did to Jesse what she did to woody, I guarantee you people would have viewed her much less charitably.

IDK if you've done this yet, but how about Gravity Falls villains? There are a lot of them, but most of them are one-shots. If you do this, I'd recommend looking at the crimes of Gideon Gleeful and Bill Cipher. You could also do Stan Pines if you wanted; he's not a villain in the show, but he's got such an extensive criminal record that I think you'd have fun with it.

My version: Stinky pete- 1-2 years in prison, his crimes while awful, can be somewhat justified, he only wanted love from a kid and spent over 50 years on a dime store shelf watching every other toy but himself he sold to a kid. He wasn’t even trying to kill woody. Lotso- life in prison or Sentence to death, he literally abused Big baby and locks up other toys who don’t follow his views. Plus he left Andy’s toys to die in a fire after woody and buzz save his ass. Gabby Gabby- pardon, she never meant any harm. Sid Phillips- pardon, (Tf do you mean 55 years in prison?) he never knew he was hurting anyone, as soon as he finds out his toys are sentient beings he stops. I would also like to add its heavily implied Sid’s dad is an alcoholic and abuses him. Zurg- life imprisonment, he wanted to change the course of history by time travel
