The beautiful worlds of the Pixar films are home to some of the most positive, and not-so-positive, relationships in all of animation, and nowhere is that more evident than in the Toy Story film series! Across the four feature films, the toys encounter plenty of friends and enemies, creating a bevy of relationships that span the entire emotional spectrum. And because there are four movies in total, we get to see the characters and their relationships evolve in a way we don’t in other Pixar franchises. That happened between me and Woody.EXE at first but, once I joined him our love grew really fast than I expected. Woody.EXE finally met my 2009 Woody the same day and they said to have the same heart wrenching story. I remember finding Woody.EXE in college one day and that’s how I bonded with him. He meets my mother a few days before the Queen’s funeral and Woody.EXE brings my family together that Monday and that’s how all 4 of us get on because of the death of Queen Elizabeth II

I’m surprised that there were only 2 spots in the Toxic Relationships category. Woody and Stinky Pete’s Relationship should’ve been 2nd and Lotso and Big Baby’s Relationship should’ve been 1st because if you think about it, Stinky Pete actually cared about Woody, while Lotso never cared about Big Baby. To start with, no kid bothered to purchase Stinky Pete from the dime-store shelf he was stuck on for so many years until Al came along, but never removed him from the box. Because of that predicament as well as the rising popularity of space toys canceling Woody’s Roundup and not to mention Woody and Jessie’s respective situations with Andy and Emily, Stinky Pete felt it was best for him and Woody and the rest of “The Roundup Gang” to live with him at The Konishi Toy Museum in Tokyo, Japan, believing it’s the safest place for a toy to reside, rather than being in the possession of children. So, while Stinky Pete should’ve respected Woody’s wishes to go home to Andy and while he should’ve accepted Woody’s invitation to live with Andy, this toxic relationship cannot in any way be # 1 on that list. Now Lotso and Big Baby’s Relationship is actually more toxic than Woody and Stinky Pete’s Relationship. The reason being that Lotso wrongfully snatched Big Baby away from the window to Daisy’s house after finding out that he had been replaced with another Lotso plush, since Daisy accidentally forgot him at a rest stop. We can understand that Lotso didn’t want to travel alone and we can understand that he felt like Big Baby still rightfully belonging to Daisy was rubbing it in his face, but because Lotso failed to handle the replacement peacefully, Big Baby was unfortunately stuck under Lotso’s watchful eye. He was completely deceived into posing as one of Lotso’s henchmen at Sunnyside Daycare. Big Baby literally has the mind of a real life baby and didn’t know what he was doing. Later in Toy Story 3, when Woody returns to Sunnyside to formulate an escape plan with the rest of Andy’s toys, Lotso, Big Baby and their henchmen temporarily get in their way. Woody calls out Lotso, who has a meltdown by destroying Big Baby’s locket with Daisy’s name on it and hits Big Baby in the stomach with his cane for still being connected to Daisy, therefore revealing Lotso’s true nature. Big Baby then angrily disposes of Lotso in a garbage bin, sick and tired of Lotso crossing his boundaries. After Lotso is expelled from Sunnyside, Big Baby is now having a healthier relationship with Ken and Barbie, the new leaders of Sunnyside. Overall, while Stinky Pete’s relationship with Woody was toxic because Stinky Pete wasn’t lucky to be loved by a kid, unlike Woody, Big Baby’s relationship with Lotso was far more toxic because Daisy loved Lotso and he was her favorite toy and Lotso took his anger out on Big Baby, who had nothing to do with Lotso getting replaced. From the toy perspective, just because Lotso got replaced by Daisy, doesn’t mean other toys can’t have owners. But from the human perspective, just because someone else has something that you don’t have, it doesn’t give you the right to take it away from that other person. I hope that this will help you obtain some consideration before making another Fill In The Blank Relationships Healthy To Toxic video.

Yeah, that one threw me off because Woody was disrespectful to Buzz in the first Toy Story. Woody wanted nothing more to be Andy’s favorite toy and completely let his jealousy consume him until the climax and the end by convincing Buzz that he’s a cool toy. But it makes sense why it’s the most healthy because sometimes friendships take time and require trust and sacrifice.

There were plenty of other relationships that could be mentioned, but the ones you said make sense. There is an explanation for the Buzz and Zurg one: As Random Critique showed, Zurg was hurt by Buzz's laser when nobody else was. This means that they were most likely playing a game. And as for the father thing, I don't think that's true. I wouldn't be surprised if Star Wars is a movie in this world, since it's owned by Disney. They probably saw the movie and decided to quote it while playing a game. That's most likely what's going on there. They knew they're toys, so they decided to play while the humans are gone.

Here's other relationships that aren't mentioned that I think are worth touching on. Woody and Jessie - They had a very rocky start, but after Woody starts to understand why Jessie is upset, he starts to really connect with her. It's unclear if they were meant to be siblings, but I definitely get that vibe from the movies. (Grey at first, but slowly making it's way toward healthy) Woody and Slinky - Slinky is incredibly loyal to Woody, someone who I'd consider to be his best friend after Buzz (or possibly even before Buzz arrived). Slinky expressed the most concern when Woody wasn't going to return home in Toy Story 2. (Healthy) Stinky Pete and Jessie/Bullseye - We don't know much, but they clearly trusted the Prospector until his betrayal. Makes me wonder what was going on with the Roundup Gang inside the suitcase... (Grey before becoming toxic) Jessie and Bullseye - The two are extremely close when we see them interact in Toy Stories 2 and 3 (Eg. Jessie's stroking Bullseye's mane). For a bit of fan speculation, I think Bullseye was a main source of comfort toward Jessie when she was in storage. Bullseye was also a critical part in the plan to save Jessie. (Healthy) Woody and Bullseye - Unlike with Jessie, Bullseye was very supportive of Woody's plan to go home. He also immediately went with Woody's plan to save Jessie, showing a great amount of trust in the cowboy. (Healthy) Buzz and Bullseye - Not as apparent, but it's made clear early on that Bullseye was distrustful of Andy's toys at first. But when Buzz gets on Bullseye's back, he doesn't even hesitate to allow him to come to help save Jessie. Bonus points that Buzz was on his back throughout most of the gyration of the case sequence. (Healthy) Buzz and Stinky Pete - There's no direct interaction with them (apart from Stinky Pete whacking Buzz off the conveyor belt), but Pete hates space toys in general. Plus, in Buzz's eyes, he had just seen Stinky Pete nearly kill his best friend. That's got to count for something. (Toxic)

And barbie and Ken were a couple at Sunnyside so I’d say they had enough depth. Zurg accepted buzz as his son so I’d say that’s a relationship. Like with big baby, Lotso treats Ken like crap. Idk about the rest of them though.

And Woody and Bullseye being co-stars in Woody’s Roundup wasn’t enough depth although it did provide depth about Woody’s existence compared to the first film, but not the relationship between Woody and Bullseye or Woody and Jessie overall.
