That’s why in the movie Heat, the robber played by DeNiro during the bank job explained that they wanted to hurt no one and give leeway to try to get the bank customers to relax. Armed robbery is one thing but any of those people die for whatever causes because of the robbery and that adds felony murder charges which are more serious

I'd say he got it soft in this video lol This doesn't even count the rampages, the 8 smuggling missions, the online heist, and for some reason, it lists the Kortz shooting as self defense, even if it was an intervention. It also does not count the murder of federal officers, which would be Steve and every NOOSE kill. And above all, it doesn't count the crimes dialogues mention he had committed. I think Trevor could easily be sentenced back in the stone age and be freed just this year with the amount of prison time he'd get

Im not a lawyer, but here are some things that might be worth noting: 0:14 +Battery 1:20 +Property damage 4:09 +Property damage 4:43 +Trespassing (Trevor doesn’t work at the docks, and that area of the docks is a Private area, thus why Trevor is disguised as a dock worker) 4:51 +Trespassing (The Merryweather base is private property) 6:10 I think it would make more sense to say “Accessory to carjacking” or something similar because Franklin is the one stealing the vehicle, not Trevor. 9:11 This is debatable since we never see what happens, there is a chance that Trevor could have acted in self defense. If Trevor did commit murder, there doesn’t seem to be any high velocity blood on him, so he most likely did not kill Floyd or Debra with the gun. There are no cuts on his hands, so 1 of 2 things, Trevor didn’t use the knife, or: Trevor was able to use the knife without injuring himself. 9:25 +Trespassing (Trevor shouldn’t have been in the back areas of the strip club without a valid reason) 11:23 Multiple First-degree murders (During this part of the mission, all 3 protagonists purposely set up an ambush to kill multiple FIB and Merryweather agents) 11:53 +Grand Theft Auto (Trevor steals Devin’s car) Trevor’s final sentence would most likely be much higher due to the charges stacking and other things, but realistically speaking, Trevor would get the death penalty.

0:14 included in Bank robbery charge 1:20 is optional and not necessary for mission completion 4:09 included in charge 4:43 he is technically trespassing but on a workplace rather than a restricted area meaning he would likely just been thrown out rather than charged 4:51 he doesn’t enter the base maybe the booth but he would be charged for the theft 6:10 you are right but under California law, there is no distinction between a direct accomplice and the principal perpetrator of the crime so he would face the same penalty as Franklin 9:11 following the narrative that Trevor killed Debra, California allows residents to use force against intruders who break into their homes which is what Trevor did so if Debra pointed a gun at Trevor he cannot claim self-defense as she is justified 9:25 In the scene before he is given directions to the office by a worker 11:23 The FIB agents have been sent there to kill T/M/F by Steve Haines with no intent to arrest which is illegal considering they have not been charged with any crimes 11:53 Correct

2:21 If you're going to count that then you should probably add: possession of Post-86 machine guns without a Type 7 FFL+SOT II, possession of at least one unregistered firearm silencer/suppressor, possession of an unregistered short barreled shotgun, possession of an unregistered short barreled rifle, and possession of a firearm without being a U.S citizen. The last one is assuming that Trevor doesn't have dual citizenship as well as being denied U.S citizenship on account of him having a criminal record with the RCMP.

The other thing most people don't realize is that if they can prove you had a firearm at each crime you committed regardless of how much is dropped you still get at a minimum of 10 years in prison all because you had a gun at the scene.. unfortunately, not a single court uses this for bs reasons, but you would make a lot of criminals think twice before doing the crime with a gun.

wym for bs reasons? First of all, longer sentencing does not deter crime. You could make the punishment for jaywalking a life sentence and it would not deter jaywalking. Second of all, why would you even want someone to go away for that long in a system that sets them up to reoffend? That's just a death camp, not a prison
@mremu4358
@mremu4358 Жыл бұрын
@outmywritemind1739 politics is the bs reason, and when I say crime I'm not talking about jaywalking. I'm talking about murder, robbery, pedophilia, and among many other horrible crimes, but the fact I have to spell that out for you is pathetic. I guess by your logic, we should just let everyone off with a slap on the wrist because taking years or their lives doesn't work. People who wanna change will put in the effort themselves or better they'll decide not to do the crime in the first place since thats too much time they lose. Those who keep doing it don't deserve my sympathy. If adding years to repeat offenders works in Singapore, then perhaps something similar can be done in the states to put an end to high crime rates. Edit: Also, if they're a death camp, then they're doing a terrible job at it, they might have to consider ideas from Aushwitz if they really want to be a death camp.

@IESVSCHRISTVSDOMINVSNOSTEREST yeah cuz we wouldn't want the victim to increase their chances of survival right? The point is to get them out of society if you catch em. If they're willing to still commit after thinking twice than atleast they can go away for a long time guaranteed, instead of some crooked lawyer able to lower the charges to the point its not even worth imprisonment so they keep killing again a year later.

0:13 wouldn't that still be "Battery"? Also, there was a third Security Guard who was present in the Prologue named "Alex" who was killed by either Trevor or Brad before the first cutscene started. When the player exists the building they can see his corpse looking at a TV in a small shack with a bullet in the back of his head (but seeing the bullet wound looks like it came from a rifle and not a shotgun I'm keen to believe it's Trevor).

Some of my own, non expert and not legally qualified input: -Accomplices often times share a crime. Get away drivers can get hit with murder if one of their partners kills someone. -I'm fairly certain self defense is not applicable in a lot of these scenarios. Trevor chose to involve himself at the shootout at Kortz Center. I'd be shook if self defense applied during Derailed considering that's a train robbery and it's Merryweather's cargo.

Great list but you forgot one, after the truth about Brad is revealed Trevor receives a call from the Triad Boss who reveals that he intends to brutally kill Michael and still Trevor just laughs it off as revenge for Brad. Meanwhile, me watching Michael after his commits a lot of murder on a highway, Michael starting to be hard to not see his actions similar to Trevor's- despite clothing and such being different. Also, awkward is my biological father was named Trevor and was similar in some regards - except the parts where Trevor from the game gives people over to cannibals and may or not be a Cannibal himself. Though my dad is dead, so if he was one also - at least he is gone.

Some of the self defense claims were a little weird. Like at 10:08 he was pointing a gun at merryweather people before they shot at him. Then when the N.O.O.S.E. officers saw him shooting at people they tried stopping him but he shot back, none of that would be considered self defense since he shot first.
