Evidently its in a Conker's Live & Reloaded Interview thing. It was only till later the Authors said it was Bumper. We don't actually know "why" but people have theorized some stuff. More than likely: Hit & Run... Otherwise I'm right up there with on being into these bits of "expanded lore " that got thrown at us.
