Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most original and inspiring spiritual teachers of our time. He travels and teaches throughout the world.
Eckhart is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition, but excludes none. His profound yet simple and practical teachings have helped thousands of people find inner peace, healing and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of individual and collective human consciousness - a global spiritual awakening.
Eckhart Tolle is the author of The Power of Now, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, which has been translated into 32 languages and become one of the most influential spiritual books of our time.
In his most recent book, A New Earth, he shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.

Listening to Eckhart keeps me balanced; but what I've found that keeps me even more happy and in balance, is reading the previous comments made on this video. Your comments make me appreciate the Light in our world... because so many others spread benign words and things on videos they do not understand. To appreciate or to judge, the reaction is still a choice.

I’ve been trying to wake up my father for 10 years now. But he absolutely insists on not taking care of himself or others. He gets angry at the suggestion that there’s another way. He’s stuck. I can’t help him. It’s painful, but I have to learn to let him go.

Tolle is pronounced "tohl-eh". Two syllables. Unfortunately, this doesn't rhyme with "soul". I appreciate poetry and I have respect for your attempt at poetry as well. Be well.

+tearnfourstar All serves the Tao/creation ... labelling another or the entire species/world as crazy/unconsciousness is to suggest that you as a single point of consciousness can see/receive all information and understand that something is not serving the Tao. All serves the Tao/creation. You are spirit/mind first. The material and the behaviour of others you call to yourself begins with the energy/thoughts you form. Take care of your own point of consciousness and let the world take care of its own and watch the world and others transform. Remember all is changing. Love the world ... saying the world is crazy is not a statement of love ... says my point of consciousness. Love the world. Love the world. Love the world.

Am simply Glad we (the world) has people like This Dude here......also am Glad we have people like Peter Gabriel, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Sting, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Alicia Keys, Leean Rymes...etc...here on this CRAZY WORLD.......simply because they bring joy to me and so does Eckhart Tolle, he should be on TV 24/7. Maybe then the process of killing, war and murder, then would stop. The Earth needs more and more people to wake up, and not just in the morning to start the day hey!

I can offer another explaination of the word Judgement (just a mental tool) ... for me, here Eckhart Tolle is simplifying the word _judgement_ too much IMO ... because a judgement is not always about a person .. or personality etc.. a judgement can be in regards to a political point of view, a simple situation, a complex situation, or perhaps the taste of a particular drink etc so indeed we can be judgemental of anything we can have an opinion on ... so I like to think of *a judgement is an opinion that as also carries un-reconciled emotional charge along with it* ... this places the unconcious aspect of the judgement in the mind the judgement maker ... this person may (at some stage) see and accept the unconcious part of the opinion, and then accept the judgement aspect of their opinion ... the opinion may or may not still remain, and could be restated without the judgement aspect .. once that aspect has been bought out into the conciousness and reconciled etc this makes an opinion into is something to be thought of as reconciled and free from judgement (which is not always 100% possible ergo all opinions are also judgements to some small degree ... the trick is to be concious of the degree, this is often call emotional intelligence ... I call it self honesty and or awareness) so a judgement is simply an opinion that carries an unconcious emotional charge (aspect) ... and an opinion is a more pure form of a point of view .. that is more honest and open. :-) I think this still fits into what Eckhart is speaking to here... its just a broader way of thinking about that dynamic .. between opinion and judgement

it is no longer out of being better than that that i can't judge any more. a judgement reminds me of my own acts of unconsciousness. how on earth can i judge anyone? i was talking with some mothers who were condamning another mom for something... i felt busted... they did not talk about me but i realized i am no better than her... how can i judge her? i was present when my boss condamned the inefficiency of a worker. i felt busted. how can i support his statements when i was also being similarly inefficient at times? my husband was resentfull towards me. how can i blame him when i too was resentfull at times towards him... even when i do judge, i am not blind to recognize that i too am no better at all

Love of Music I don’t think I understand what most people think about judgment, but if I see a mother disrespect her child f. Ex. I would judge her, more I would tell her, how dare she treat her own child like it. Nothing is more evil then a mother disrespect her own child. Because the power that are involved there. So I believe there are RIGHTFUL judgement. My opinion. 😠💕

Human beings are crazy -- not judging Human beings are liars -- is judging Tolle better go back to being silent and reconsider this one. He doesn't seem to have quite figured this one out. Playing word games. What's wrong with "judging", anyways? Judging is not identifying a person's intrinsic nature with the judgment. We can make judgments while holding in mind that our true underlying nature is PRESENCE.

I think Eckhart Tolle is saying not to say that a particular individual is a liar, but, rather say that this individual lies. In this way, you do not label this person. Labelling would be the judgement.
