Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most original and inspiring spiritual teachers of our time. He travels and teaches throughout the world.
Eckhart is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition, but excludes none. His profound yet simple and practical teachings have helped thousands of people find inner peace, healing and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of individual and collective human consciousness - a global spiritual awakening.
Eckhart Tolle is the author of The Power of Now, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, which has been translated into 32 languages and become one of the most influential spiritual books of our time.
In his most recent book, A New Earth, he shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.

My dog has gone to heaven 6 month ago, it's 3:30am I am akwoken by the sadness of missing her. My heart is missing its broken pieces and doesn't know how to heal, my dog took my heart with her. My heart will be whole again when I see her.

I was lucky enough to have a beautiful dog in my life and I dreaded losing her she was everything to me. When that time came the vet came to my house the first injection put her in a sleep like state the the second injection was the one that “takes her away” so to speak. The whole time I had my hands on her and as the second injection was administered and her heart stopped I felt her energy, kind of a very strong buzzing for lack of better words, travel up my arms through my chest up through to the top of my head and snap she was gone. The vet then said she had passed. It was her essence passing through me. It was her last great gift to me when she had given so much already and it made the sadness of her not being around so much easier to bear, knowing that she simply left her body but carried on elsewhere. It also altered my view of life substantially and I hope this helps anyone who is going through this challenging period.

This video has helped me. I've experience a string of deaths over the past couple of years but the sudden passing of my cat Ellie has had the strongest effect emotionally. I realize now how much she made me happy and warmed my heart every single day. She was only with us for two years and i looked forward to having her for a long time. My heart aches for her.

My dog just passed. For me it was more painful than losing a human. I couldn’t breath and wanted to scream cry, it was painful. And I thought she taught me this unconditional gaze we had with each other. But I was sitting outside today n just had this insight, it was me too. I taught her too. She was such a loving, nurturing, soft n affectionate dog. I’m very much like that but I only become like that by being with her. Thank you, I really needed this. I wasn’t even looking for some guidance, it just came on my feed🫶

If anyone reading this is faced with the decision of having to put a much loved pet to sleep and maybe feeling guilty about it then I would like to share some wisdom I was given when faced with this dilemma. (The following came from a poem I wrote) I maybe can help you with this saying I relate “Better a week too early than a day too late” Be strong for your friend and then shed your tears Then celebrate their lives and all those good years. I look back with fondness, my memories have no end For my Big Indy - This man's best friend. Our friends don't deserve to suffer so we can avoid having to face the guilt. Do the right thing when it matters the most. I hope this has helped someone.

We just found out last week that our Cookie's cancer metasizied from her breast to her spine. We are now faced with the decision to let her go so she may transition to her next life. I've been searching to find some comfort with this and your comment helped me come to terms with my guilt. Your poem gave me some peace that though this is difficult and heartbreaking; but, to choose this option is the most loving and selfless thing I could do for her. I'm so grateful that this video led me to your comment. God Bless.

Cows, chickens, pigs, turkey etc are beings too. Please look into a cow's eyes and tell me you don't see a being in her too... I'm not saying we are or we're not meant to torture and eat them but atleast lets acknowledge that fact. When I was 14 our dog of almost ten years died and I missed him so much, I cried and felt such suffering that no one understood and maybe even made fun of..but since then even when I ate meat I knew inside of me that this was a being and I couldn't ignore it anymore

I rescued my six year old pug girl. She became disabled and ill three years ago. In that time I’ve nursed her and cared for her. She passed away in my arms. She taught me that Love is truly a ‘verb’. I understand she’s no longer in pain. Still, my empathy, patience, humility and love grew in abundance thanks to being her ‘Fur mother’.

.m so sorry things weren’t different, i hope you take care of your beautiful self, life is constantly difficult, and constantly deserves our intense and wise..effort, and i only hope you find your way, with intense love ,… i can still put my dukes up in life, i hope you realize that you never live for someone else, u live for yourself, and then happiness can be created after there is no dependence, on someone else. I hope you find what makes life matter, it is never outside of yourself, if you have to much to lose in life you won’t give it up? the life of form, is all we know, how many books to we have to read to see past it, well, we are alive, and mortal, please let us know what we can do

E K Hi Emmet, I recently lost my kitty of 17 years. She was my heart and soul, and I miss her so much it is painful. The sadness has been taking hold of me in waves for the past few days. Your kind and thoughtful words to Eckhart articulate my feelings exactly. So thank you so much for asking this question and putting your heart out for the world to see. This video has been one of the only sources to bring me some kind of peace during this difficult time in my life. I wanted to ask if you’ve found any other material or guidance to help in your healing process? I do not see your reply to Susan. One love, Allison

so is the self lost in death ? will the "l" that l feel is me,no longer exist ?will l no longer have an individual experience ?will "l" be lost forever ?
@BadbearXIII
@BadbearXIII 8 жыл бұрын
+Frank Garner What you feel as "I" will continue. But who you believe you are, will be lost. That means that your would be free from what you dont recognize as a burden to yourself. Since the burden essentially is your selfimage good or bad. That is what your mind is fighting and struggle for, to keep that selfimage in place. When you dont mind, you dont create problems.:)

Of course it's put together by thought if it could be explained by thought. The point with using thought, is that it have the ability to direct the attention beyond itself, if used rightly. If you meant Jiddu Krishnamurti, then I've already listened for probably 30+hours of his talks already.But I wouldn't mind to listen many more hours of those talks!:)
