Here in Dayton Ohio we have an indoor bike park that's just a few years old now. The County Metro Parks or, the Miami Valley MTB Association used to run shuttles from here up to Cleveland. To visit Rays' in the wintertime. I don't think they still do that however. A friend of mine told that he used it at least once. It was a pretty long day. With at least three hours travel time each way.

It's not nearly as bad as you'd think. There's an industrial smell that's more noticeable in some of the more secluded rooms but it's not something that stood out. On the other hand, the lack of natural sunlight is way more noticeable, but you really only notice that when you step outside and realized how much you missed it haha.

Great question! Come on a Saturday and Sunday mid day and it's a zoo, come during the off hours and you can get more space to yourself. The POV lap was filmed at 9:30am and the 3rd person shots were filmed at 7:30pm on a Saturday which is well outside their peak hours. I don't like to film when is busy so I'm not getting in people's way and killing their fun.
@NortheastOhioHikesandBikes5 жыл бұрын
It's usually busy in the late morning on Saturdays and after first shift hours on weekdays. Sundays all day, early mornings, and late evening (after 7) are pretty chill. The park is big enough that there's almost always areas that aren't packed when it's busy, so there's no real need to avoid peak hours.

I went there as a total newb with a bunch of other first timers. The staff gave us a free group lesson, and basically said, “it’s in everyone’s best interest if we get you guys comfortable before everyone shows up after lunch.” Go at off hours. Early morning is probably best.
