The hyperview felt a bit nauseating, but I think it had something to do with the motion blur/shutter speed.
@MarkusFinholt2 жыл бұрын
Hyperview has some pretty bad distortion in certain spots, specifically at roughly 1/3rds of the screen and 2/3rds of the screen, horizontally. I think they tried too hard to keep the center untouched, so they add more distortion to the sides. I agree it looks really nauseating.

Hyperview feels like a bit of a "fish eye" lense/view. Not horrible for me but you can definitely see the distortion/warping as you're moving/looking around. This bike park looks amazing regardless and this makes me pumped to ride this weekend!

I agree with you on that Phil. I also case a jump almost on purpose when it's the first time I learn it. I feel that if my front tire is over the landing ill more than likely will be okay and just absorb to hit to save my rear wheel. Then the next time I hit the jump, I know that I can case it and be fine. Then give it some more to clear it.

Were the beginning 30 seconds in Hyperview, as well? Either way, I think you nailed the camera angle/settings for jump sections. It's cool to look down the length of the fork and to see the whole bike in the frame when you whip it sideways over a jump, versus 11:43, where you mostly see the front half.

@SkillsWithPhil2 жыл бұрын
After riding for years you develop a pretty solid intuition, and can basically read the trail. But it’s certainly not perfect, accidents do happen but most trail have some degree of predictability. For example you can look at where the trail is worn in before a turn, this might tell you how sharp the turn or how much to slow down.

I get a stock (complete) bike, but I then change out parts. My general protocol is to keep it somewhat stock and change only the things I need to. For example even though I had my own opinions about the sram brakes before hand, I left those on and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked them.
