Your videos will indeed be of some help to many. I am 75, doing well in spite of suffering from lifestyle diseases. I don't intend to live long if my health fails in any respect. I think living a long life with great health is also a problem for many. For instance, if we aren't financially sound or if we have to look after other seniors and have no one to care for you even if you get unwell or you have to face problems that becomes harder to handle which otherwise was simple just a few years ago or when you experience rejection because of your age or when you are simply handicapped to do certain things because of your age. Such things and many others make you think that living longer is not so enjoyable for all. You long for death and peace at times. But taking care of yourself is must else a very painful end may stare at you.

By the time you get to my age, 78, you know what you should be doing. But you don’t always do it, the fatigue of old age makes exercise a chore, but if you can do it, it actually helps the fatigue. So I give you a 9 for excellent reminders.

My son-in-law's grandfather is 101 . He played golf into his 80's and to this still has a fairly active routine. I asked him his secret of longevity and he simply replied "get off your arse".

My mommy lived to 95,spent days in her beloved vegetable,fruit and flower garden,retired at 62, kept active in her senior years,very little red meat,olive oil part of her diet very little alcohol other than occasional red wine with her meals,maybe the simple lifestyle contributed to her long lifespan ❤.

A hobby that encourages going out and moving, as well as challenging the brain is my way for overcoming most of these negative habits. I’ve been an avid photographer for many decades👍🙂 Unfortunately it also caused me some lengthy periods of sitting at my computer station when editing my photos and videos - sometimes till late at night🤪

It is not sitting but staying one position too long, that is correct words. Moving is a key but be sure to balance all activities, no more no less. Keep life balance at all the time. Negative is no harm its an opposite and balance to positive, it comes together like day and night, saperate it, is inevitable. Most of all be free from the world, people teach drama from day one you born, from schools to Ph.D., it's all dramas. So DETACH from everything before detach from drama world.

Yes, I used to depend on my husband to make me go to bed, then after his demise, thhe dog used to coax me to get in bed. Now there is no one to tell me to go to bed and I stay up almost to dawn some nights, sewing or playing with the computer. I thought I was enjoying myself, doing my thing!

Such a boring, over used theme in this video. Do you think all people over 70 are stupid? We are the generation of physical education, modern medicine, health consciousness, exercise, advanced education, business management, technology inventiveness, and free love. Most people in this age group are high achievers who lived this long by taking care of themselves. We're not a bunch of idiots. In our seventies, both my wife and myself have six to eight ongoing health issues. We work on them, and never give in. That's the solution, and the secret ingredient is making love three to four times per week. It keeps you vital.
@johnr525218 күн бұрын
Agree, but the sex part for me would require a partner at least 20 years my junior. That’s hard to come by these days.
