I would also tell you not to pay much thought to those who are always putting you down, slandering you, telling you how worthless you are if your around those types of people you'll never know how good you can be because they will never see it! The darkness has an evil job that it always does and that is to blind people with darkness so much that they cant see the light that is around them, and if they have the power and you give in then the darkness wins and every single hateful and resentful person that you had a bad experience with will also win because they were able to stop you and keep you down! It is through the bad experiences and darkest times that when you can bring it to light through your surviving it and becoming stronger that your experiences will also show someone else how to rise above it and overcome!! In numerology the number 11 is a master number of the numbers and it means, "too Overcome"!!

I needed this today, Been going through a phase where I craved friendship from someone, who uses hot and cold behaviour towards me constantly, It made me feel small and unimportant, and even though I know I am worthy and I matter, I still allowed this behaviour, because I have grown used to them, BUT I have decided to let go of this person completely, and although I have only known them for several months, I thought we could actually be genuine friends. When we are on good terms, we really connect, BUT I have decided to let this person go, and regain my self respect and dignity.

My daughter did me a kindness by telling a small lie to me. I will return the favor by not telling her that I know she lied. It warms my heart that she lied to me to spare my feelings. If I had done for my mother, what my daughter did for me, she would have used the kindness as a weapon to hurt me. My mother would have punished me and shamed me for being a, "liar," and never would have appreciated or seen the reason behind it. Acting in love, with decency, civility, and respect, is so difficult when you've never seen it.

When you realize that the biggest mistake of most people is to constantly complain about the things they are both unwilling to change or accept that they cannot change, it's inspiration enough to just want to be different. You can meet 100 complainers in a day, but won't get within earshot of anyone doing something about their problems because they are busy doing something about their problems and don't have time to complain.
@butterflychaser453810 ай бұрын
So well put!! I’m trying to distance myself from the complainers as I’m a do-er and it doesn’t balance well.

By the same logic: if you put him on the pedestal, he will look down on you. Do not ever put anybody on a pedestal, be it a woman or a male.

I disagree. Putting someone on a pedestal is truth serum for the relationship. I'll explain. If they return the favor by putting you on their pedestal, that's the one for you. If they treat you like crap when on the pedestal, dump them! It reveals their true character. I don't want to play games by withholding affection to get them to like me more.

@@Scarcro1 True, genuine, and wholesome love does not need a pedestal for expression. Wholesome love sees clearly, and is inclusive of the other's flaws. Pedestalization masks flaws and is unrealistic in the long term. It will crumble when the flaws are revealed.

So true. I'm in my 70s and still physically and mentally active.i know so many people who reached retirement age and just stopped living and died soon after. They bought a mobility scooter although they were still mobile and used it to go to the pub or the shop on the corner within a year they were unable to walk the length of the street
