All of that is so much older... People as early as the Buddha noticed that we pretty much "react" all the time and just run on autopilot. If we are just habits running, we should make sure that those are good ones that lead to future wellbeing

He's right that your environment makes a difference in the level of One's willpower. As in Real Estate, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION is key. If you are in a negative energy location your entire life suffers, let alone lacking willpower. The hometeam advantage is proof enough already.

To anyone listening/watching for the same reasons I do. Life is full of ups and downs, life is not guaranteed to be painless, in fact its the opposite, and the key thing to remember is that life is full of great and poor experiences... and the impact of those experiences is down to your mindset. Atomic Habits to me is about mindset, plus some very useful hacks to support that mindset. 1) Don't take your thoughts seriously 2) Life is not meant to be a perfect place 3) Everyone is born in the same way 4) You're always going to be your own worst critic, so be kind to yourself 5) Always be kind Peaceful ✌

I have watched A LOT of motivational videos and Ted Talks in the past and this is by far the most concise and effective video out of them all. Our most precious and priceless resource is our time. What essentially determines us and our lives is how we invest our time. And to make the best use of our time, we need to make good habits. This video is literally an epiphany moment for me and I hope for the special few who have encountered this video realize how life-changing this video can be for you. I wish you the best on each of your journeys 💛

In any computer hardware components performance is calculated by device lifespan, software performance is calculated based on how fast it delivers the solutions on user input, likewise human physical health is calculated how long you live in this world, mental health is calculated how fast you get solutions in life and how happy in your life 😃 Have a nice day 😊

I call bad habits defects of character or negetive personality traits. Things we are doing that we know we should not be doing. Behaviors that give us a guilty conscience. Then, there are the shortcomings, which are things that we are not doing that we know we should be doing. Example; smoking is a defect and not going to the gym to help my lungs get better like walking, jogging or running.
