I would change that veterans be given copies of the C & P right at the time when the exam is conducted. This will give the veteran an opportunity to review the Disability Benefit Questionnaire in REAL TIME and not two or. three months after the exam. I would also try to change the attitude of some VA employees and get rid of the mentality of "Deny, Delay until they Die" for ratings, claims and other services. When I was. activated to go to the WAR, I did not go with an attitude about my service. However, when I go to the VA, sometimes I get the attitude when I request services.

When you marry a military member your medical records belong to that military member. I was a veteran but I was a military spouse 2nd. My medical records are under his SSN. We divorced I have to get permission from him to get what pages he is willing to give to me after they blacked out information that has nothing to do with him other than his SSN. I've argued this fact that I still should have had a copy 1st as an adult Veteran.

I'm going through this issue now, Champ VA for my wife, she has Medicare and Champ VA wants proof that she has it before her 65th birthday. Well she faxed the application in June, as of last week Champ VA is opening mail from May 15. We are in October and they are opening mail in May. So she called to talk to them for the 10th time, they asked her what fax number did she send the application to, she informed them, the fax number on the application. They told her that is the wrong number and she will have to go in the back of the line and now she no longer has Champ VA. We have a congressman office working on it now. Just crazy. It's there form with the fax number. Now where did her personal information get faxed to and how many others are having this issue.

When an error is found (cancel 1 year limitation find). It should be fixed and back-dated to the date or half the time of the error date. Stop the back-and-forth duty to assist errors and assist the members to not lose time and money on decisions. The Navy got it right with their lawsuit. Duty to assist is meant to assist the veteran! That is the beginning and the end!

The crazy thing if they need to recall back in the military they know who you are and where you live! C&P contractors need to be fired! Raters need to have a degree! They need to take an anatomy physiology! 6 months of training before you can rate someone!

Veterans should not have to go through hoops to get disability, if they have a problem they should get disability for in it simple. Every year a veteran should automatically get a increase on their check, a real increase not a crappy increase like what is giving now.

I maybe off topic but if I’m 100 ptsd, 100 asthma, 40 back, left knee 80, Rt knee 80, why do I get the same pay as a guy with 100 ptsd only. They need to change the scale to go higher and I’m NOT talking about SMC. That’s my change or question??
