There are two types of people who comment on these types of videos (not just mine). 1. Those who take this information and do something with it. They look for opportunity, for growth, and advancement in some way. Or they decide it's not for them and move on. 2. Those who see the negative in the things they don't 100% agree with, see this video as an attack or a "scam" and do nothing with it, and thus remain in their problem. These people usually leave comments with the intention of dragging others down with them. Examples were given in this video to show people are making something out of nothing even. You can take that and run with it or dismiss it. But the opportunity is there. The alternative is to wait around for another employer to call you. I personally don't like to waste time.

Weird and typical self-centered content creator way of viewing criticism/opposing ideas. Basically you're calling everyone who doesn't agree with you a loser, and everyone who does, a winner. I'm currently building my own projects and hoping to make something successful on my own, but I was immediately turned off by the "successful" entrepreneurs you were highlighting as inspirations. I'm in the process of marketing the web apps I recently uploaded. I absolutely agree with you on everything. One thing worth mentioning is how difficult it is to get that first dollar in, and make it consistent. But nothing is easy anyway. And the level of difficulty depends on whether the application is catering to the world in general or to the people in your geolocation. I'm in Zimbabwe and people here tend not to be highly receptive to new things. I'll get there eventually - just have to keep at it.

@Andyyyk47 I’m afraid you completely misinterpreted my content here and in the video. I simply shared an alternate way and made it clear that it’s not for everyone and that it’s okay to completely dismiss. And nothing is wrong with being a job seeker for a time. But too much time doing the same thing without any results isn’t necessarily the best use of that time.

If you can't find a job, sell them shovels... like advice on what to do when layed off. Survivor bias was shown in this video. For every 1 winner there are 1,000 losers. The odds aren't good. No impossible just terrible.

You're making the exact point of the video; Diversify and pursue different avenues instead of putting your eggs in one basket. Or you can just not try because it's unlikely to succeed so why bother try anything

Just because 1 out of 1000 entrepreneurs succeed in their business doesn't mean 1 out of 1000 people will succeed in getting a job

Tech people might actually be tired of setting in desks and speaking corporate. There is a massive need for trades people. If you can come in and learn the basics of the trade you might be able to scale into entrepreneur class with trade using the previously acquired business skills as well. Trades people can make great money.

Hes right , although its small, I built an app for a small group that makes $500/month , I can live in thailand off that, at least. Im thankful for that. It's best not to be negative and have a positive mindset.

I'm almost 45 and had to leave my trade job for personal reasons. With no previous experience, I had decided to get into coding and have 2 weeks of Harvard's CS50x course left to go. Should be done in a week ;) . I wasn't sure what path and end result I wanted to take. I'm glad I came across these videos as I was starting to wonder if this was all a mistake. Especially since starting this course just over a month ago I have fallen in love with coding. My first goal is to get through 100 days of coding everyday and have set myself up to achieve that. Here's hoping that the new tricks this old dog learned will be worthwhile. Love the videos and have subscribed.

I see people with 10 years of experience struggling to find a job (a lot of them have been unemployed for more than a year, those are actual people i see everyday on linkedin).

sorry but lots of bootcampers cannot do that, they came from a quick pyramid scheme of study 1 month earn 6 digits. The market of creating udemy courses peaked long time ago, same with drop shipping, streaming on twitch (if you are a men of course,, being a women its pretty easy to get rich if you have a good body)...

I didn't really mention bootcampers, but bootcampers are more than equipped to create their own apps and many have talents to add to that from their previous jobs/careers. Udemy courses, drop shipping, twitch are three of how many opportunities out there?

Nothing against those who do, but I don't want to become a public person, with all the exposure it entails. I would be very happy though with a consulting gig, or maybe building a couple of marketable products. It's hard to start though. You still need to connect with people to sell them whatever it is you're building or providing, and that is something I'm not really good at. Selling, I mean, I can connect just fine with people but no if it means pushing them something

i believe that something that we would all have to deal with is that aspect you just said "who knows where that is going to take you", which seems like something you leave out for the luck you have, and some of us would have to deal with that more than others, i dont really think everyone would has the luxury of giving their time of rest when they are not working, to make some kind of video in order to grow a business, of course some people take this risk, but what i believe is missing in here is talking about the time out of the video, the time that you spend thinking about all of this production, editing, mistakes you commit, how much time you can take off from making content, i only criticized youtube here, but other things like building an app or teaching have their own costs, like hosting the app and putting it available somewhere, and making all the content you are going to teach and finding the audience for that as well. But thats just my opnion

I see a very grim future, every single job post that I see require many years of experience and there is already a deep need for skilled workers everywhere; I think the gig economy and corporations pinching pennies for profit to keep stockholders happy are going to make a great negative impact in the economy for a long term. Sorry for the negative thoughts but if this doesn't change the global economy will crumble. We need to incentivize companies to train new hires, work on their retention policies, and raise awareness for the wellbeing of future generations. This insatiable corporate greed is bringing the tragedy of the commons to a bitter reality.

Please reconsider that "most probable real-estate" and spend a reasonable time researching it first! It requires a shit ton of Effort, work, time and Knowledge to outperform "simply" investing into ETFs and profit longterm from the compounding!
