I got excited as soon as I saw martial arts and Pokemon in the same video. Did not disappoint. Watching yourself go from being helpless to being proficient is so much fun in the long run. Also, you know how martial arts can help people with a lot of personal issues? I think the magikarp metaphor can work there too. If you see a magikarp in the water, you should definitely catch it, train it, and evolve it yourself. Otherwise, it may become a gyarados without you. Then, when you run into it again later, it will be a gyarados that has no idea who you are and just wants to eat you. Or hyper beam you. It's better to be friends with your inner gyarados even if it isn't a gyarados yet. It sort of reminds me of Naruto fist bumping his nine tail fox.
