I never said that it was illegal to run. I don't think that running should be illegal. I only said that a police officer MIGHT CARE if you start running after dropping a knife in front of them. I can easily imagine being on the receiving end of harassment by the police on the grounds of "acting suspicious" (which, in many jurisdictions, police can detain you for). This is largely due to the ambiguity of allowing officers of the law to detain citizens with "reasonable suspicion" leaving it up to the discretion of the officer himself/herself to decide weather or not they are allowed to detain someone.

The last officer was lovely!! It would be so hard for me to be a police officer because I would most likely get angry, I'm glad we have people like that in our streets. I got mugged on two separate occasions, one in Belfast and one in Bristol and both times the police were so amazing to me, even the same officer calling me up a few weeks later to ask how I'm doing. Not trying to say anything controversial, but purely from my own observations from a most likely slanted media, but America seems to employ any guy that just likes bullying people and barely any women ever. It's much more 50/50 here. Saying this, I feel really bad for the truly good hearted and professional American police officers that get a hard time due to other bad officers. And I can tell you that 95% of the time the shooting was justified, they do not simply put up their hands. If you think the US is bad on shootings. Then you would hate my country, no matter your skin colour, if you get stopped for something as simple as running a Stop Sign, the police will approach the car with their guns raised. Due to all the criminal activity we have here. Yet have you ever noticed that in countries with higher populations of blacks, the criminal activity begins to rise. We have problems with shootings, and we have a huge majority of black here. The US has a lot of shootings, and they also have a large population of blacks. Yet I do not see any European country with such problems, and such countries are countries with a vast majority of Whites. Not to say I hate other ethnicities, but my point being that many of the cases blacks are a fairly violent, and a criminally intrigued ethnicity.

Noah Moody Pretty much every type of knife besides kitchen knives are banned in the UK and you not allowed to have knives on your person unless you just bought it. Well I think you can get other knives like pocket knives and military knives but you have to have a special license and register the knives, but you still cannot carry them on you.
