The tilting barrel does not help with the recoil. The barrel locks to the slide on the squared of chamber hood. This means the barrel and slide travel back together for a short distance till the pressure drops and then the cam on the bottom of the barrel tilts it down out of lock up allowing the slide to continue rearwards on its own.

Funny thing I only own a one airsoft pistol and its this. I had a Umarex G19 before that, this is just so much more gas efficient cycles faster and gets better range. It also seems to do much better in the cold. My best airsoft purchase right after my MWS.

Huge fan of the Glock 17 GHK Gen 3. If you want a realistic airsoft. That’s as close as it gets. CQB dream… 😎

For a second there, I thought you took some helium 😅 Fantastic impression! I have a E&C Glock 19 Gen 5 and the more I live with it, the more I love this gun. It's stupid simple compared to Hi-capas and so lightweight that I don't even think about them all day, whether cosplaying or playing airsoft, or practicing off body carry. Sadly, I'm struggling to find parts for it in my area to make it my own. Do I sale it for something more common like a WE Glock 17 gen 3/4? Or just wait it out and keep it until more parts become available?

Hey man I’m just coming back into the sport. What’s your recommendation for the highest quality BBs? Personally, I’m hoping the one you recommend is biodegradable. Though I’ve heard in some fields they don’t like that. Is that true?

I see a lot of TM gen 5 comments, understandable given it's the new hotness, but they are pretty hard to get hold of, I had to jump through alot of hoops to get mine. It is very nice, however don't discount the gen 4, or heck even the gen 3, all the TM Glocks are very nice. 17 vs 19, imo is just a choice based on hand size. With my big 'wreck it ralph' hands, I prefer the classic 17. But if you are more normally sized, you might find the 19 better. There is also a good halfway housre, Umarex/VFC do a G45 - it's a 19 slide length with a 17 grip size. I really like it format wise, but unlike with my TM airsoft pistols, the vfc's winter/cold performance is pretty woeful is comparison. And it's pretty chilly here in the uk for half the year.
