Yes the the music is action oriented. As soon as you start combat with another player the battle music starts playing making it feel like your in a movie. Its absolutely amazing what gajian can do.

Doing CAP in ground RB is one of my favorite things to do, I’ve noticed it dramatically reduces the enemies effectiveness because either the CAS player rage quits or will hop in SPAA to try to get revenge. It is so satisfying!

I’ve been doing this recently, first tank death jump into a plane and create a big “NO PHLY ZONE”. He’s right that it helps your team win and it’s kinda relaxed gameplay as long as you stay focused on your job. Love you Phly, stoked to have you back and healthy!

If you want a good CAS hunter, the F-84B is great. It’s fast enough to outrun anything you don’t kill on the first pass, but it’s at a low enough BR that the .50s are still effective. You also have access to the US 7.0 lineup, so you have plenty of options for getting airborne.

I remember the video you did on the american M42 when it was 6.7, look at it now, it's all the way down to 4.0 now. The problem now is the US tech tree doesn't have any spaa till 7.7. Heyyyy that's my favorite job, not only because it's really effective to win, but also because it's in my opinion the best rendition of what air RB should be. Every plane gets an objective/use ✅ There's no markers so manoeuvring and using terrain is more effective, it's so satisfying to see that your opponent didn't see you coming, it's also more realistic ✅ The action is more "urgent", if you shy away from combat your team loses ✅ You get to be the good guy as most tank players resent CAS ✅

yes the music is action orientated. well atleast in ground battles. i dont remember exactly how it fully works but i just remember the song Steel Rain will play when you have gathered a pretty large kill streak or youve lasted a while almost completely surrounded. (its literally boss music)

I love playing air superiority aircraft in GRB. It feels much more purposeful knowing you're protecting your allies on the ground and, as Phly mentioned, also potentially depriving the opponent of spawn points. I took it upon myself long ago to strictly play air superiority in GRB if I had to take out aircraft. It's revenge for all those games ruined by CAS lol but also a fun way to have aerial fights without all the mind-numbingness of air RB.
