Helpful. I carry a 26,500mH power bank in the front pannier pouch pocket or inside the main bag itself with a cable running to my phone to keep it fully charged all the time. I have another spare power bank that I carry in rear panniers like you have, but keep it low down in the bag to keep centre of gravity low. I can go for at least one week before I need to recharge from mains electricity. I have a 28W solar panel as well, but have not used it when touring on my Brompton yet. I always try to have similar weight in each rear pannier for balance and good bike handling. Like you I carry too much in the front touring pannier so it is far too heavy. Where do you carry your food? You didn't say. Periodically I replace the bolts of the Brompton mounting block in case they become fatigued and snap. The first set of bolts lasted 17 years. I have a 2006 bike. I changed them last year after a tour in Spain, before they likely snapped as they were old. A front hub dynamo such as SP is very useful. I have the Brompton one. You can buy new wheel with it already installed. I did this. Cost about £120. I have Supernova dynamo lights which are brilliant. No need to carry lights or to worry about lighting at any time. Thanks for making your video. ATB

Hi, thank you for adding more details on my video 🙏, my bike have dynamo too more helpful for sure. I took extra light for late ride sometimes I put it on. My food I put at pannier bag. One bag for cooking and cookery and other bag for food. My bike is 2014 really strong compared to new bike, I really comfortable. Little bit heavier but is fine for me. Thank you 🙏

Thanks for the video! I notice you don't care many tools. Think I'll start doing same, because I carry way to many! My folding bike is a Dahon. I like riding it more than my other non folding bikes because it is so light.

That was very interesting. I can imagine some viewers from outside the UK being gob-smacked at all the additional clothing to allow for hot/cold/wet/dry weather. As you will know from personal experience many parts of the world have fairly predictable weather and temperatures. A fairly common British day can have the weather from all four seasons. 😂

Hello, I just discovered your channel, it is very interesting! Quick question, are you using a kickstand on your bike? If not can you explain how you stop your bike when fully loaded? Thanks for the great videos 😊

@@mic03311 Hii, welcome to my video I hope you enjoyed it, thank you for watching. Recently I add kickstand on my bike it’s because more easier to stand, because sometimes is hard every time need to fold the bike specially if I have some stuff on my rack. I bought it from eBay around £12 but unfortunately if my bike is bit heavy I can’t use the stand because is not that strong enough . I hope that help the info you asking. Cheers
