I've always had an eye on an Xmaxx but for my style of "Bashing" I'm more committed to getting the XRT first, which really depends on when I can get some good land to run bigger cars. For sure the Xmaxx would be in my lineup!

I got the DHK maximus for the longer wheelbase but it's hard to find a RC that suits all needs and I'm starting to think the Xmaxx would have been a better choice for that reason, it's a great Allround RC 🎉

@@OGRCFanatic I usually run 8S only, 2-4s packs. Sometimes I may go 6s or 2-3s packs. I’d like to keep the weight distributed on each side.

I would think two 3s packs are better than one 6s as well, for power balance on both ports, as opposed to one 6s pack plugged into only one port. And the weight balance part you mentioned also makes a lot of sense. 👊🏼

I love this RC car and would never complain to get one. But, last September I bought the XRT. It’s awesome and I love it, but for me, there’s just not enough areas big enough to really enjoy it. So I find myself driving my 3s stampede VXL, and my 4s Arrma outcast a ton. For me, those 2 are just the best. And are perfect for the areas around my house to drive. As much as I love the XMaxx, I just need more room to drive something that big. My XRT spends a lot of time under my work station being stored 😭😂

I bought the V1, V2, V3 and V5 the moment they came out. Somehow I dont own any at the moment. XRT, Maxx, Maxx Slash, Mini Maxx but no X-Maxx. lol :( But its the most beastly of all RC cars ever. I brokie my 6S V1 a bit but the latter ones were tanks! Dont matter if you are a Traxxas hater or (insert brand here) fanboy, anyone into bashing knows the XRT is king of the hill for longevity. M2C hinge pin kit, hot glue a long screw in the servo arm hollowed out bit on the bottom, shoegoo/drywall tape the body and lastly, 2 pice drive shaft and at that point, if you break it then you were only trying to break it, not drive it. LOL

Maybe I will get the X maxx one day and the wider arm kit for it will be a no-brainer, wider equals more stability. You should change the name of your channel to RC intervention.😂😂……. girls have a closet full of shoes and guys have a room full of RC’s👍👍

Xmaxx is great once you put upgrades on it.Better pinion and spur is a must and after market steering servo.

Great in depth review 💖 the only thing is that here in Australia they are $1935.00 and that's the cheapest I found even with black friday sale's so it's a little out of price range for many here unfortunately. I was going to get one but they was over 2K and at that time I didn't see the need to spend that on a stock RC. waiting for them to drop in price is a killer now though 😞

I had a 2wd slash like 15 years ago, I was gonna get back into the hobby with the xmaxx as my first real rc, I found a brand new one for 700. However I'm looking more and more at the Maxx v2. Just seems like it's nearly as awesome and even more durable. Just a more reasonable rc to take anywhere. IDK though. It's a tough decision

I dont have a xmaxx but had traxxas since tmax came out. Now I have a maxx v2 tekno mt410 a losi sct 3.0 a new tekno not built yet. Anyway I beat the crap out my maxx but since I can buy a xmaxx for 899 I thinking going to grab one tomorrow. Hobbywing max6 esc gpm hinge pins an new servo battery tray straps shoe goo the body an I think that's good. Any other suggestions would be appreciated from anyone? Thanks.
