Ingenious "echoing" effect from the amp there.
@JakeReichbart14 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don't prepare anything, I just start playing any song that pops into my head on the gig. This is possible because after doing it for so long I have a sufficient vocabulary of fingerings/voicings to go with any possible melody note. On one hand this is good because I can play songs on the spot (If I know them). It is not so good in that I use many of the same voicings over and over and I wish sometimes my "arrangements" were a bit more imaginative or special...

First time I've heard your guitar playing. Outstanding! Melody weaves itself very nicely through out the rhythm . A great feel for the instrument. Superb touch and artist feel and phrasing on each passage. Some people just have that touch and artistic interprotation which turns chordes. Tones and rhythms into music.good music! The melody never gets lost and the rhythm never becomes over bearing. Very good guitar player indeed. Thanks1

Man, this is also nice. I'm not normally a fan of jazz guitar (and don't own one) but I really like some of these tunes. I think I've told her 4 times that "this guitar is the last one I want to get.. I won't bug you again" ... Are those Ibanez Artcore guitars OK? :-)

It appears to me as though you have fingernails on every finger on your right hand including your thumb , is this the case Jake ?.. and how much do you think this contributes to your sound ?...(providing I am correct) , is that normal for this style of guitar playing ?..to either use your fingernails or use a pick on each finger ?..
@JakeReichbart10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this, and all the other nice comments! :-) Yes, I have acrylics on my right hand which I find to increase my dynamic range. But they are not necessary at all, the inventor of this style, Tuck Andress, does not have long nails at all and sounds great, check him out! Thanks again, Jake
@westwinds712910 жыл бұрын
Thank You Jake !..I am already very familiar with Tuck Andress and have several of his videos , the fact of the matter is , I don't think he's really any better than you , although I have seen him do some big stretches and play some strange chords his tone and fluidity and voicings (to me) is certainly not any better than yours if as good
