Your video looks beautiful. I just got the new iPad Pro 11 with the double OLED screen, so I can really see everything when I watch videos now, and you do a lovely job of filming. One item I am curious about is nail polish. IMO Chanel ruined their nail color with the recent reformulation. They chip on day one now. What do you think of the Dior reformulation? Did they ruin theirs too?

I love the classy and sophisticated look that you put together, Angela! Guerlain, Clarins, and Sisley are all great brands. Your description was a great reminder of how good those brands are. Of course, the Prada lip balms and the Dior highlighter looks great, too! I love Chanel’s Hydra line, both the micro serum and the lip serum. I use them for day time. Thank you so much for your detailed reviews and recommendations. I tried many of your recommended products over the last year (luxury and drug store) and have been very happy. Sisley makes excellent products and they seldom reformulate them. They are consistent performers and I feel like they will always be there when I am ready to purchase a new one. I love the Guerlain balms and lip oils. They are my favorite. Where Guerlain completely lost me was their random redesign of their gorgeous Rouge G refillable lipstick cases and lipsticks, rendering the old (expensive) cases unusable for the new lipstick. Very wasteful and infuriating. My expensive cases are now garbage. I am not falling for it again. No more Rouge G for me. Mon Guerlain is gorgeous.

My friend experienced same issue. Her skin got very agitated. Products she was advised to use made it worse. I told her to wait a few days let the skin settle from all the different products. I said try Clarins. They sampled this serum and within 3 days the difference was remarkable. Clarins has made great moves forward lately.

Hi Angela. I purchased the new Chanel in medium rose gold. I thought it was a great idea, oversized to contain3 products but I have a difficult time isolating the individual colors with the correct size brush for a nice application. I also don't feel the formula was anything special or worthy of the splurge. I liked the bronzer formula and color in the oversized compact from last summer much better. Wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

I purchased two of the new Prada lip balms and I have fallen in love. They are gorgeous! I fully agree with you about the Sisley Orchidee blushes. I have the pink one and it's a lot beautiful than Chanel's Fantasie. Now after watching your video I will buy the coral too. I wonder if shade 1 can work as a subtle bronzer?

Hi Angela, for irritated skin may I suggest pure Camelia Oil plus a drop of glycerine and a drop of sesame oil(you can buy refined sesame oil to have it be fragrance free). You can make your own skin oil. Camelia Oil is so so luxurious and nice. Great for taking makeup off as well.

I am so glad you mentioned other brands for skincare, because Chanel skincare I had to stop using years ago because of their ingredients irritating my skin. I was shopping at Belk store and the lady at Estée Lauder told me about their Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution with Bifidus Ferment used for treating red inflamed rosacea prone skin. And, it’s always on sale at one store or another. So, I switched to EL skincare and still use Lancôme foundations. They work well together. Chanel makeup I will still buy, but not as much.

I have been using EL advanced night repair for 20 plus years on my dry skin. It does it all. And I worked for CHANEL for over 20 years but my skin couldn’t tolerate their skincare. 😊

Hi Angela!! 🌷 So many wonderful products in this video! It makes me happy to see the Clarins and the Sisley products! I think Clarins has great quality products to offer at a good price point. When I finish my current bottles of Chanel Hydra Beauty I will try the Clarins version. (I love extra hydration in the Summer.) Sisely also makes me very happy!! 💗 Some Sisley products are quite expensive, but I even love their Hair Care products! The Orchidee blush is one I've looked at many times! I may buy this one! The Rose Tokyo looks like a very beautiful everyday shade that would be perfect for work!!💕

Hi Angela. Hope all is well with you two. I do have three of the Sisley blushes and love them. They are my go to for all occasions. Also like the Chanel one. I have three of the Killian perfumes. My favorite one been “Apple Brandy on the Rocks “. And I don’t even drink let alone brandy. A week ago I received a sample from Guerlaine of “tobacco Honey”. And I am in love with it. I really enjoy your videos, Angela, and have appreciated your love for Chanel for some time, but I got so excited this evening when you showed your Sisley Orchid blush. I too, own the Coral colored blush and it is also my fanciest most treasured makeup piece. They are truly stunning but because of the cost I keep it put away, but your video has inspired me to bring it back out and play again. It's a work of art. If you're looking for other brands to audition I also love Chantecaille, especially their incredible lip products - amazing. Also, Tata Harper has beautiful wash of color blushes. Not an in your face highly pigmented, but a soft cream veil of color. Anyway, great video and thanks again for the inspiration 🩵

Angela,, for me Killian often don't last long. Or have a long projection. I have several and I didn't buy the new one I actually bought a Guerlain. You're lucky to get the results as I love them but my new Miss Dior outperforms both of my Killian's. You should do a fragrance video !!!

Hi Angela, Thanks for yet another honest, informative video! I am interested in a lot of the products you recommended. I’m strongly considering the Mon Guerlain body lotion and I noticed there is a gift set including a regular size and a travel size Parfum and a small size of the body lotion. What is your recommendation; the full size body lotion or the gift set? The way you described the scent sounds amazing! Hi Susan, definitely get the Guerlain gift set. This is a spring edition. They usually do these sets in Spring and around Christmas. I also just ordered it :) This a value set and will allow you to test the fragrance and the body cream and the mini is so cute. You only need a little from the body milk so it will last you well. My recommendation would be for the Guerlain set. From Kjaer Weis I love their blushes and the cream eyeshadows and the cream bronzers. I was not very impressed with the impossible mascara. It's good but nothing too special (this is just my opinion). I want to try their foundations but their palest shades are always sold out.

Hi Julia, The pink one is the closest. The full name is L'orchidee rose 2. It's almost a dupe to Fantasie de Chanel. The only difference is that Sisley's shimmers are a little bit more subtle than Chanel.

I used to love Clarins skincare 😊but sadly they discontinued some of my favourite products years ago 😢they had THE best refreshing cleansing water w mint that was really gentle to my sensitive skin and a gorgeous peach moisturiser. It was from their combination skin line but it seemed to work well for all skin types.

I also bought all the product the mentoined. They all very good. I have tested the complete line from Chanel and I`m the customer since about over 20 years. I like all the product. Some more and more a little bit fewer. But i tested all the brands Sisley etc. complete drugstore and nothing is for me so good how Chanel.

They are always out of stock online and many releases never make it to the department store website and are in very limited quantities if they do make it to the department store counters.
