A Study in Charlotte is way more than just a gender bender Holmes. The main characters is a decendant of Holmes and Jamie is of Watson. The book also takes place in a private school. Which I love books in school settings. So check it out!

wow, what a coincidence, i was just watching booksandlala's video of "can we trust booktuber recommendations" where she tried following these kinds of videos and an old one of yours was in there, too! i haven't read many of the books you talked about, but was definitely happy to see that her royal highness (which was already on my list) was recommended for red white and royal blue (which i finished last night and loved) P.S.: Dystopian novels are technically Science Fiction, too (think 1984, Brave New World etc.), and Skyward would be a Space Opera, a different subgenre of SciFi :D

as someone who read both rwrb and her royal highness, i think rwrb is one of my fave books but i didn’t love her royal highness. i’m a bi girl so i absolutely loved some of the romance in her royal highness and i now wanna marry both of the main characters, but i just thought both characters acted like 4 year olds. like they said things like “omg.” idk, they just didn’t feel super real to me, and the writing wasn’t super great. also it was a much lighter read, which i honestly liked a lot, but it was very different.

I really didn't like A Study in Charlotte and now I'm not sure if I should ever pick up Stalking Jack the Ripper... I think a very similar (imo much better) book is Truly Devious, the main character is also a "detective" at a boarding school but I think the story is way more interesting ;)

hi I love your videos, and I love that you've been reading so much diverse books and talking about them, it means a lot, and I don't know how to say that without sounding like a jerk, but could you not say a gay romance for a m/m relationship if both people aren't gay?
