My sister and I had a record of the Nutcracker, with a narrator between movements to paint brief word pictures for children (“can you see the snowflakes dancing?”, “can you see the caravans crossing the desert?”). Sister and I would take turns being a ballerina (my childhood dream) or the audience (enthusiastic applause). Today is the first time in 54 years I’ve danced to the Nutcracker…in my kitchen…full of joy! Thank you with all my heart for this delightful presentation ♥️⭐️🎶🕊️

Me encanta Tchaikovsky desde que escuché, de niño, hace unos 50 años, su Obertura 1812. Recién he descubierto a Litvinosky y me encanta su estilo. Mi favorita es IV Nos etudes.

Halidon, if you want to do commercials, great. But could you at least do them in between each piece of music instead of randomly in the middle of them?
@HALIDONMUSIC9 күн бұрын
hello Elizabeth, ads are usually timed between pieces to avoid disrupting your listening experience as much as possible. It looks like something might have gone wrong here, so thank you for bringing this to our attention. We'll strive to fix it as soon as possible!

If you skip ahead you get some of the other guy. Just be warned, he was born in 1962. His stuff isn't modern in the truly awful way. It's a little like Aaron Jay Kernis or William Grant Still. A grade above movie music but pale next to real classical. It's alright.
@HALIDONMUSIC9 күн бұрын
hello Maddie, our goal here was to show the connection between Tchaikovsky and Litvinovsky, as well as their shared influences (fairy tales, folk tunes, etc.). The pieces were therefore arranged in a way that we felt made sense, but we appreciate your feedback. How do you suggest we curate similar playlists in the future?

If You Love Tchaikovsky, You’ll think Litvinovsky is an amateur apprentice !!🙄
@HALIDONMUSIC9 күн бұрын
we're sorry that you feel this way - for us, the connection is very much there. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course, and constructive feedback is always welcome here at Halidon. However, we're sure you'll agree that calling someone an "amateur apprentice" isn't very helpful. The music might not speak to everyone, and that's perfectly okay, but we kindly ask everyone to keep the criticism constructive. Thank you 🙏
