I've always wanted to cover and protect the battery compartment when I take the battery out. So I saved my heavy old black and yellow Ryobi batteries to use as a cover, for like my Ryobi weedeater to keep out dust and cobwebs. Once again Clint, you saved the day. Where would my life be without you.

I already knew about these but still watched your vid because I enjoy your humor and presentation style, it's real naas like ;) I have extremely limited space, about a quarter of a one car garage, as my "shop" and I use these tool hangers on the metal shelf I have. It is the type of shelf that the uprights have holes the full length to allow the shelves to lock in anywhere. I use those holes on one upright to clip on six different Ryobi tools, like Christmas tree ornaments, lol. They have been great not only as space savers but I know exactly where they are when not in use, just check the Xmas tree :) Keep up the great work!

I got a peg board little awhile ago to help organize my tools, and while it's been great for my hand tools, it's been difficult to find good ways to use it to store any of my power tools. This would be PERFECT!! It'd only work for my battery powered Ryobi tools, but thats still several tools I can take off the shelf and hang instead!! Great find!

you can also reuse dead batteries for a similar purpose. Take them apart, remove the now-useless guts and screw the stem part to drawer bottoms to keep the tool in place, or retain the bottoms for ceilings, joists, walls etc.. The tools fit right on them and release with a squeeze.

For most of my tools, I just use either the single large J hook or the double J hook drill/impact holders. I only have a string trimmer, blower, drill, impact, and recip saw that need wall mounted. The recip saw is the only thing I can't hang with either the single hook or double hook that came in the pack I got so I put it on a shelf next to some other stuff out of the way till I need it. No need to spend money on the Ryobi belt clip unless I was working in the trades and needed the belt clip.

If you have been a Ryobi fan as long as I have you should have a ton of these lanyards. They used to come with each tool that you purchased. They are a "welded" nylon strap with a retractable D clip and are very useful for hanging, keeping moisture/dust/sawdust and bugs out of the batray compartment. I have at least twenty of these. They all came with various tools.

After seeing so many Ryobi videos on KZbin this last week, hearing REEobi, I really appreciate the way you say "RYobi, not REEobi" . I may steal that one for my own name. Of course I just got into making content for KZbin and only have a handful of subscribers or videos posted. But I have one of those names that isn't totally easy to pronounce correctly. I like your content in particular because I was looking at Ryobi tools on the web, and when I saw a decent deal on a multi-tool, I immediately went to KZbin for a search and your video about this tool was by far the best. I may actually get one because I just picked up four of the newest batteries ( like how you pronounce that word!) and now, I've got more batteries than tools. I also have trouble finding a place to store the ones I have. Part of me wishes I had a bad battery, some being twenty years old or more, just to make my own little lanyard like this myself, but I will probably just get a pair of these. I got one of the leaf blowers about six months ago, and I love it, but my senile father actually had one of the big beefy leaf blowers from IDK how long ago, and I love it more! They are both easy to store having the notch on the bottom you can just hang on a screw or peg. I want to do some kind of video about them but I'm thinking along the lines of wind power for something small in scale and probably made from Lego. I'm trying to come up with ideas for making usable stuff such as some floating shelves I actually have four of and room for three more. I have this stucco wall I came up with a decent idea for, I'm not ready to unveil. I made big 3½ inch addry numbers after having the siding done. I'm in a mirror obsession right having almost finished my third kaleidoscope with plans for more and I'm actually planning on making an infinite mirror, a true mirror and a solar oven in the next couple months. I even built a chandelier with 52 LEDs above my bar that appears in several of my videos, so, look for the words Bluebrixx Deep Space Nine on @reddblackjack. I'm going to upload videos on the shelves and other stuff soon. Hopefully tomorrow. Everyone is welcome to watch and leave comments. I'm still new and soak up criticism! Please check out something. Thanks everyone!

They aren't as "modern looking" as some of those metal tool hangers, but it's nice because you can put them almost anywhere. I buy an extra pack every once in a while when I buy stuff off TTI's website, Direct Tool, just so I can keep them ready in case I need to hang some more tools because there's no end in sight for me buying green :D They hold some fairly heavy tools, too. I have the biggest impact wrench they make and these hold it just fine. I have the portable band saw up there too. The only thing I haven't hung up with these is the mini compressor, but that has feet anyway. The only thing I don't like about these (and this is more of a nitpick) is the buttons to release the tool should have had a raised edge because your fingers push in between the holder and the tool, so if you have fat fingers, you might struggle to release these.
