I created a Google form that I complete every day. Just yes or no questions each day if I completed different tasks on that day. Then as time goes on I have all the data on what I did on each day. It’s easier to hold yourself accountable when you see the actual data of what you did or didn’t do. I also have some other questions in there, for example I rate how I feel 1-10 so i can later look and see the relationship between how I feel and completing different tasks. It’s not super long either, it takes me maybe about a minute to answer the questions each day. I also don’t forget to answer the questions each day cause I set up the shortcuts app on my iPhone to automatically pull it up the Google form everyday at a specific time. I’ve only been doing this for about 2 weeks and I have already noticed my ability to get things done and work towards my goals improve significantly.

My problem is coming up with lyrics that doesn't sound like i repeated myself 10 times in 10 different songs but for some reason im still stuck on that same topic so it sits there and builds so i move on and make a another beat for a different song

I got two pieces of advice. One, take a break and clear ya mind. Go for a walk, read a book, listen to some music. Hell, chill in silence if you like meditation. Anything that will help you turn your mind off and take in what’s around you. Another piece of advice is to just get a piece of paper (notes app works) and write down the first words that come into your mind. Whatever words speak to you right there and then, expand on it. Whether that be thoughts, feelings, achievements or downfalls. That last one helps me a lot because I’m autistic. It’s really hard for me vocalise and express emotion/thoughts, so witting it down helps me get it out of my head and so I can expand on it further
